Pullman & Mercure Melbourne Albert Park are seeking a passionate, dedicated and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our kitchen team!
About the Role:
- Assisting the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations and oversea food preparations in the à la carte and banqueting kitchens.
- Develop and test new recipes and seasonal menus that highlight flavour and creativity.
- Supervise, train and develop kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative, inclusive and high-energy working environment.
- Oversee and uphold food quality and hygiene standards in our kitchen operations, including banquets and à la carte restaurants.
- Manage inventory, order supplies and minimise waste to optimise kitchen efficiency.
- Facilitate and promote a collaborative interdepartmental work environment throughout the hotel.
