Reporting into our Accounts Payable (AP) Business Owner and joining the wider AP team that are at our Bindjareb office in Pinjarra, you will provide functional expertise in all AP related matters including systems, processes, and controls.

In addition, your key purpose and responsibilities will be:

• Actively seeking out issues and identifying gaps along the RTP flow path where you’ll develop and implement effective solutions to support with continuous improvement.  

• Leading a variety of AP activities including actioning invoice holds and control reports, ensuring GST compliance, resolving invoice queries, and keeping procedures up to date.

• Supporting all internal and external audit and compliance activities that involve providing required and information as requested.

• Working collaboratively with your team and provide training and guidance where required whilst covering the role of your supervisor when the opportunity arises.

• Building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders by providing an exceptional customer experience journey.

About you

To play a part in our ongoing success we are seeking someone with:

• A background in Finance specialising in Accounts Payable.

• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce / Accounting would be considered desirable.

• Previous exposure working within a large organisation demonstrating the ability to manage high volume invoices and balancing multiple priorities effectively.

• Strong knowledge of end-to-end RTP processes with an understanding of business controls and compliance.

• A self-starter approach and an analytical way of thinking that delivers out of the box initiatives and solutions to improve existing processes.

• Proficient in using Oracle ERP or similar with the capacity to learn new systems efficiently.

• Leadership attributes that will support team development and performance.

About the Role:

Are you able to analyse operational risk and develop innovate solutions to mitigate risk for our mine operations? Then we want to talk with you!

Operating from the Mining Hub near the Pinjarra Refinery, the Senior Risk Management Specialist oversees the establishment of the risk management framework for WA Mining operations encompassing, a varied risk profile including but not limited to environmental, operational and safety risk.

In this diverse role you will be tasked with identifying, monitoring, and reporting risks and audit issues that could affect our operations, providing specialised advice on risk and control, aligning with Alcoa’s business strategy and objectives.

This is a highly collaborate role working across a wide variety of teams, site leadership, internal and external audit and risk management teams, and regulatory bodies, so you’ll need to be able to engage and influence at all levels to drive effective outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead and coach teams to identify potential risks associated with processes, systems, technology, and human factors under their supervision.

• Assist risk and control owners to develop and implement strategies to minimise operational risks, including the establishment of controls, policies, and procedures.

• Ensure that the organisation complies with industry regulations, internal policies, and external standards related to operational risk management.

• Analyse data and reports to identify trends, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement in risk management processes.

• Manage and investigate operational incidents or breaches and developing plans to prevent recurrence.

• Prepare and co-present (with Risk Owners) operational risk reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.

• Provide training and guidance to employees to enhance risk awareness and promote a risk-aware culture.

• Lead risk assessments, control testing, and validation activities to ensure the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures.

• Assess and monitor operational risks associated with third-party vendors and suppliers.

• Continuously evaluate and improve the operational risk management framework based on industry best practices.

What you can bring to the role:

• Extensive experience in the provision of strategic advice and guidance to senior management on work health and safety risk and related issues.

• Extensive experience in the provision of work health and safety risk advice and management of change.

• Experience in developing and delivering risk management studies including facilitation.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Work, Health, and Safety legislation.

• A track record of effective communication across all levels of an organisation with an ability influence and guide varied internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective solutions

Are you an experienced Fund Administrator with a keen eye for detail who is wanting to further develop their skills within a dynamic team? 

As a Senior Fund Administrator at FNZ you will play a pivotal role within our teams, providing support to Fund Administrators and management over the day-to-day operations.

As a subject matter expert, you will support the team through providing advice on processes and procedures to ensures a high quality of service is maintained.

This is a 6 Month Fixed-Term opportunity.

The responsibilities will include:  

• Assists leadership team to deliver the service culture required to achieve organisational outcomes. 

• Assists with the day-to-day management of the team including resource planning and work allocation to meet agreed service levels. 

• Proactively works to ensure effective working relationships within the team and with those whom the team interacts with. 

• Assists with people management processes such as performance improvement plans.

• Performs quality reviews in line with established framework

• Works with individual team members to provide feedback and coaching on work items

• First point of escalation for feedback/escalations and assistance in the team

• Undertake any other projects/ tasks as may reasonably be required to facilitate the smooth operation of the team.

What are we ideally looking for in a successful candidate? 

• Minimum 5 years fund administration experience.

• Time management and the ability to prioritise.

• Experience in performing quality reviews and providing training and feedback to individuals

• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• The ability to solve problems and to autonomously investigate issues and potential solutions.

• Excellent computer literacy, particularly regarding the Microsoft Office suites.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Able handle high volume workloads and perform in demanding situations from time to time.

• The ability to adapt to change –as a result of both legislation and Company changes.

• A willingness to perform above and beyond the call of duty
