Miller & Griggs offer range of automotive and caravan services across New South Wales, including panel beating, smash repairs, spray painting, loan car services and more. Miller & Griggs are currently seeking to recruit two experienced and qualified Automotive Painters to join their teams in Tamworth, Wollongong, and Port Macquarie NSW.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Ability to mix paint shades and select exact paint to match vehicle colour
- Sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders
- Treating vehicles with rust -proofing chemicals
- Applying primer and finish coats with spray-guns, and sanding surfaces between coats
- Removing making papers, and waxing and polishing finished paintwork
Skills & Abilities:
- Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or equivalent
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within related field
- Ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
