About the Role
Due to an increase in production requirements, Thomas Foods International are seeking an experienced and certified Maintenance Tradesperson to join the team at our Tamworth facility. This position is full time, 40 hours per week with the Maintenance department running rotating roster, with additional overtime when required. Salary on offer is 100k+.
Skills and experience
Skills and experience including, but is not limited to:
Understands and applies quality control techniques;
Exercises good interpersonal and communications skills;
Exercises keyboard skills;
Exercises discretion appropriate to his/her classification level;
Performs work under limited supervision either individually or in a team environment;
Operates lifting equipment incidental to his/her work;
Performs non-trade tasks incidental to his/her work;
Performs work which while primarily involving the skills of the Employee's trade is incidental or peripheral to the primary task &
facilitates the completion of the whole task. Such incidental or peripheral work would not require additional formal technical training;
Able to inspect products and/or materials for conformity with established operational standards;
Train, mentor and supervise apprentices at all stages of their apprenticeship.
What we’re looking for from Applicants:
Certificate III or higher/equivalent
Current trade licence (preferred, not essential)
Minimum 1 year experience as a Fitter/Mechanical Tradesperson

Industrial Maintenance background preferred, not essential
