Are you a highly motivated Registered Nurse looking for a Permanent Full Time position? Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Paediatrics Team on a Full Time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided. About us Prince of Wales Private Hospital is a leading high-level tertiary healthcare facility that specialises in acute surgical and maternity services. The hospital is independently recognised by the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality Healthcare for clinical safety and service excellence, and is renowned for achieving outstanding patient outcomes. Our operating theatres consist of 11 theatres and 1 endoscopy suite which provides full elective sessions 6 days per week, including 24hour on call coverage. Prince of Wales Private Hospital performs an average of 24,000 surgical cases and 2,000 births per year. The casemix includes cardiothoracic, orthopaedic surgery, neurosurgery, Gynaecology, Urology, Reconstructive plastic surgery, general surgery, Ear, Nose and Throat and vascular surgery. Our location is unique. You'll find us at Randwick, where we share a precinct with three other hospitals; Sydney Children's Hospital, the Royal Hospital for Women and the Prince of Wales (public). Apply now to join Prince of Wales Private Hospital team. As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care
Led successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes
Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Essential Criteria:
Authority to Work in Australia
Working with Children check
Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
Paediatric Nursing experience essential (minimum 3 years)
Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement
Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused

[email protected] If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79 per hour.
