We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team in Perth, working with GRE fibre glass.
Applicants must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
Additional beneficial skills:
- Supervision, fabrication and installation control expertise.
- Project supervision and quality assurance.
- QA competence ISO 9001 quality management system.
- Highly organized with ability to prioritise & handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Commitment to results, able to work towards fixed deadlines without jeopardizing standards & precision of work.
- Attention to detail & problem solving skills.
- Extensive traditional and specialist piping product knowledge and skills.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills with ability to liaise with people from diverse social & cultural backgrounds.
- AutoCAD Drafting and Design.
- Welding fabrication and Pipe fitting.
Nature of Works and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all Site Safety.
- Project supervision of GRE Piping installation for individual projects.
- Liaise with project manager, project superintendent.
- CPI certified bonder and pipe laminator.
- CPI QA Inspector.
- Onshore GRE pipe repair, fabrication and installation.
- Onshore GRE pressure piping fabrication and installation and hydrostatic testing.
- Preparation & issue of work packs for fabrication.
- Quality Control of individual projects.
- Working off Isometric Drawings.
- Maintain project files & quality documentation.
- Manage & prepare technical queries, NCR’s, ITP’s, as-built drawings & MDR.
- Liaise with external vendors/contractors for equipment & parts supply/fabrication.
The successful applicant will be offered a remuneration between $80,000 - $90,000.
