You’ll bring expertise developed over 5+ years in a Software Asset Management role as you will be undertaking a range of interesting activities relating to software licensing, audit, and compliance management on behalf of our customers. You will also be supporting the delivery of the Software Asset Management (SAM) managed services and projects for multiple customers from Commercial and Government industries.

You will have advanced critical thinking skills, an ability to interpret and apply logical decision making to a variety of data, and you must be able to deliver your analysis, findings, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

Your ability to work with other members of the SAM and customer management team to develop and deliver quality solutions for our customer is critical to the success of our SAM Consulting and Managed services.

What You’ll Do

In this role you will work collaboratively with other Software Asset Management (SAM) team members, Software Licensing Consultants, and Customer account teams. Essentially, the Software Asset Management Consultant will:

• Act as Consulting SAM Subject Matter Expert for our customers.
• Deliver SAM Consulting services relevant to today’s changing technology landscape and market demands.
• Deliver Compliance Reviews (Effective Licensing Position) for Customers.
• Review current software licensing Terms and Conditions, License Agreements, and License Contracts to identify any breaches or risks for our customers.
• Apply knowledge of licensing rules and use rights within SAM Consulting Services.
• Analyse, document, and present licensing modelling recommendations.
• Identify license reclamation opportunities to achieve cost avoidance outcomes.
• Propose remediation and optimisation activities that may result in reduced compliance risk and/or financial savings and cost avoidance outcomes.
• Contribute to the achievement of project outcomes while managing compliance and commercial risks for customers.
• Provide quality customer service through adherence to Datacom’s Asset Management service delivery methodology and processes.
• Utilise SAM technologies and their capabilities including Flexera’s FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS) and/or Snow License Manager.
• Interpret data outputs from the SAM technologies and other tools to provide accurate and timely reporting.
• Liaise with service management, and customer teams to define, optimise, and develop SAM standards, processes, procedures, plans and controls to ensure appropriate service asset information is recorded and maintained.

About the Role (your why)

Our Customer Delivery team is the part of the business where you can influence internally within our delivery teams and work closely with the customer to meet their business requirements. You can be proactive, innovative and look at ways to improve people’s lives through technology.

As Service Delivery Coordinator, you will play a key part in ensuring that all contracted services are delivered to clients in accordance with contracts. You will have excellent verbal and written communication and your customer relationship building and management skills will be second to none. The role of the Success Advocate is to act as an advocate for our customers. You will oversee a portfolio of customers to help them achieve business outcomes and foster greater adoption and usage of the ServiceNow products they have purchased through prescriptive guidance. You will bring ServiceNow's best practices, innovations, and capabilities to help customers achieve their goals.

• You will oversee the engagement and outcomes for customers in your portfolio
• Ensure customers are technically healthy and on the most recent version of our product
• Leverage existing Success Plays to assist customers, but also assist new Success Plays
• Work with customers to create new use case/success stories
• Ensure that customers obtain the maximum value from their ServiceNow investment and use their licenses
• Guide other ServiceNow teams to address customer issues
• Oversee projects identified by leaders
• Ensure any escalated clients are resolved quickly, using resources from across the company ecosystem

The Customer Outcomes Principal Success Architect will develop C-level executive relationships and relationship management across 1-3 customers. The over-riding objective for the Success Architect will be to improve Customer Outcomes at these managed accounts leading to customer's product adoption, renewals, and expansion of ServiceNow offerings with the account.

Overall Purpose of the Role

Xodus is currently under-going a multi-year internal Operation System transformation, one that future proofs the organisation, aligns with our strategic vision, enhances our digital and data analytics capability and delivers companywide system efficiencies. As Xodus’ business expands and the world becomes more digitally connected, we will ensure our business operating system (XBOS) has the agility and resilience to meet our company’s needs.

In Q1 2024, Xodus be rolling out a new XBOS to the global business. The new system will enable core business functions such as Human Resources, Finances, Business Development and Customer Relationship Management, contracts management, opportunity / proposal / project management, and enterprise intelligence. The delivery and subsequent support and feature enhancement phases of the project require a motivated application support analyst to support the roll-out, maintenance and feature enhancements of the integrated systems.

Key Responsibilities

The role will report into the XBOS Product Owner as they will take decision-making accountability for the business operating system. The Application Support Analyst will work closely with IT & Cyber Security and Digital & Data to ensure compliance with infrastructure, governance and security requirements of the digital technology within the XBOS ecosystem. Supporting resources and services such as Data Science, Solution Architecture including Security, Software Development, Collaboration Architecture, etc will come from IT & Cybersecurity and Digital & Data teams.

Primary Duties

• Provide front-line support for tickets raised relating to the business operating system
• Responding to requests and incidents reported by users, aiming to resolve issues in line with agreed service levels providing advice and guidance to application end users.
• Monitoring application logs and error messages, escalating issues where appropriate.
• Executing small projects to make improvements and provide support for larger projects as required.
• Managing application configuration, user accounts and application support documentation.
• Work with the XBOS Product Owner to design and implement changes
• Produce reports and dashboards from business data for end users based on a variety of business needs
• Work with vendors of 3rd party applications within the XBOS ecosystem to coordinate updates, changes and bug fixes
• Work with IT and the Integration Architect(s) to implement updates to the XBOS solution
• Assist in documenting the evolution of the business operating system
• Assist with data ETL for business operating systems, including sensitive HR data
• Understand personal data protection principles and work in accordance with data privacy principles of the company

Supplemental Duties

About the Opportunity

As a beginner Tech Assistant, you’ll be part of a wider team that work directly with Datacom’s clients (often Government agencies) After comprehensive training your role will be to help solve technical issues as they arise over phone, email or an alert system, you’ll work in a timely and efficient manner, with the option to escalate for additional support where necessary.

Your training will include an introduction to ITIL. A globally used Service Management Framework that will help you identify, troubleshoot and resolve incidents.

Flexibility & Hours

This opportunity is full time with a target start date from March/April 2024.

The operational hours in Tech Assistant vary from Monday to Sunday (8.00am – 6.00pm) we also have afterhours roles which require availability Mon-Sun (6:00pm – 8:00am)

This role is 100% based onsite. We have a stunning new office in Docklands. Situated at Two Melbourne Quarter, you’ll have easy access to public transport, shops, and cafes.
