Offshore wind specialists – environmental impact assessments

We are seeking environmental impact assessment practitioners experienced in offshore wind projects, from Principal Consultant to Technical Director/Partner level, to be based in our Melbourne office (hybrid working available).

You will play a leadership role in ensuring that offshore wind and marine infrastructure projects are developed in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner. You will be supported by a large cohort of industry leading technical specialists and environmental professionals, including ERM’s Australian and Global Marine and Impact Assessment Technical Communities.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead EIS/EES projects in marine environments and as an offshore wind specialist.
• Lead the design, mobilisation, fieldwork coordination and reporting for marine baseline studies, including being a key contributor to safety planning.
• Manage projects to scope and budget, and ensure team and stakeholder relationships are maintained to an exceptional standard. 
• Collaborate with technical team leads to develop and deliver superior outcomes for our clients.
• Support Account Directors in maintaining existing client relationships and develop strategies to pursue and win new business opportunities.

If you have the following, we want to hear from you:

• 10+ years’ experience in environmental planning and impact assessments on offshore projects, including 5+ years’ experience in environmental consulting – experience in Australia and internationally highly desirable.
• Excellent project management and project delivery skills, including budgeting, resourcing, scheduling, risk management, and communications.
• Demonstrated experience in building and sustaining excellent relationships with clients, stakeholders and teams.
• Tertiary degree in Marine Science, Engineering or a related discipline.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Senior Consultant, you will also provide objective, independent advice on off-the-shelf or custom-built, third-party technologies and knowledge of the market presence of these technologies within our clients. Experience implementing EMIS software such as SAP EHSM, Enablon, SAI Global EHS 360, Intelex, Cority, or Sphera is preferred. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluates EHS&S Management Information Systems (EMIS) available on the market, including assisting clients with system requirements and software selection.
• Manages EHS&S Management Information Systems software implementation projects for industrial/corporate clients worldwide, assisting with project management, system configuration, integration, training, rollout, support, maintenance, enhancements, and improvements to meet overall business objectives of clients.
• Oversees all aspects of projects related to the scope, schedule, budget, quality, and delivery. Consults and collaborates with clients to set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarize progress of projects.
• Leads consultant teams that configure/deploy environmental health, safety and sustainability solutions; specific activities include drafting and publishing system design documents, configuring technical specifications and components within the solution, analyzing/migrating data, and developing custom reports/dashboards and automated interfaces.  
• Serves as subject matter expert to provide escalation point for production issues.
• Maps and analyzes end-to-end business processes within third party and proprietary systems as well as integration with EHS&S Management Information Systems software, following formal IT guidelines.
• Engages in system support and training documentation teams, prepares and presents training to internal consultants and client system users.
• Facilitates management of change issues with the adoption of new information systems. 
• Serves as a power user of collaborative technology, and champion new and innovative business solutions within established and emerging technical architectures (i.e. Enablon, SAI Global EHS 360, Intelex, Cority, or Sphera.)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or Management Information Systems.
• 5 - 10+ years of relevant work experience in an EHS related field.
• Strong knowledge of project management best practices.
• Diversified information technology experience and sound knowledge of EHS software, methodologies, domains and technology required. (Environmental Compliance, Industrial Hygiene and Safety, Occupational Health, Occupational Hygiene, Audit Management, Incident Management & Risk Assessment)
• EHS&S Management Information Systems configuration and implementation knowledge or experience with one or more of the following software systems preferred: Enablon, SAI Global EHS 360, Intelex, Cority, Sphera, or SAP EHSM.

• Proactively managing the Injury Management Process and Return to Work Programs for DOF - APAC within relevant legislative and company guidelines.

• Attending claims reviews with insurers on a quarterly basis ensuring effective management and coordination of work-related injuries and illnesses,

About The Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be providing essential services to people across Australia on behalf of our Australian Federal Government client. In this role you'll be operating in a dynamic team environment with a focus on meeting quality outcomes for customers.

Operating Hours
We have both full time and casual opportunities available, required availability for the casual roles is a minimum of 20 hours per week across our operating hours.

Our operating hours are Monday to Friday between 7:30am and 7:30pm on a rotating roster with flexibility to support all of your out of work commitments.

The primary role of the Team Leader, located in Melbourne Australia, is to manage team members/agents to ensure that key client deliverables are met and exceeded. This will be dependent on the campaign you work on and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) outlined by the client being serviced.

Key focus areas will include team and agent development/engagement, process improvement, compliance and quality assurance.

Your Accountabilities In this position you will be working in our Operations team and directly reporting to the relevant Operations Manager, Australia.

Core Operational | In line with your operational remit
• Undertake daily ongoing training and development of existing team members to up-skill staff
• Drive improvement projects and ensure all staff are actively working towards achieving targets and KPIs as set by Operations Manager – daily/weekly/monthly
• Liaise with Operations Manager to identify strategies and ways to improve efficiency and performance within the channel
• Organise daily motivational meetings and team feedback sessions
• Work cooperatively and effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Depending on team staffing and rostering levels, when required, accept or make calls and provide effective and efficient service to customers
• Ensure daily administration tasks are adhered to maintain a tidy and efficient working environment
• Assist the P&C Team in following up employee documentation if required
• Ensure customer complaints are actioned and resolved as per customer service guidelines • Must be willing to lead by example and engage with customers, double-jack with staff to provide mentoring and guidance
• Act as the client representative in the event an enquiry, investigation or complaint escalates and cannot be resolved by the Agent
• Role model appropriate behaviour in terms of demonstrating compliance in punctuality, reliability and teamwork

• Familiarity with contact center technology and software Your Qualifications • No essential requirement however studies and/or experience in industry verticals or relevant tertiary qualifications in management/supervision would be highly regarded
