We are working on several projects that require excellent English skills and familiarity with coding documentation. Following our style guide and other quality guidelines, you will create and check responses that will form the “voice” of future AI. You will create and edit original, helpful, honest, and harmless responses; fact check existing responses; bring submitted texts up to our standards; and work directly with Team Leads to help provide feedback to writers and other participants to ensure they can regularly produce high-quality work.

• At least 1 year of professional experience in writing and editing technical documentation related to software development.

• An ability to understand technical terminology and basic code samples in a variety of programming languages.
• Familiarity with various rich-text formats, including YAML, CSV, and HTML.
• A degree in a field related to English, technical communication, journalism, computer science, or similar.
• Native level of English.
• Willingness to learn new methods, ability to switch between projects and topics quickly and sometimes work with challenging, complex guidelines.
• A laptop, internet connection, availability, and enthusiasm to take on new challenges.

• Decision making is substantially dependent on judgement, skills and knowledge. 
• The Senior Developer manages and organises their own work in the context of competing priorities, including contributing to business planning, changes in workplace practices and business improvement strategies. 
• The Senior Developer may manage a small team. 

DEVELOPMENT EXPERT

MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 7+ YEARS EXPERIENCE IN AUSTRALIA AND MEET ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS OF SUPPORTING ROLE CRITERIA’S

• The Development Expert engages in the design and the development of high quality solutions in support of business and technical requirements. 
• The role solves highly complex problems. 
• The Development Expert exercises a considerable degree of independence and undertakes a technical leadership role, with work being performed under the general guidance of senior staff.
• The Development Expert may be responsible for, and/or contribute to the management of a team.

Mandatory Criteria

• Demonstrated strong communication skills, both when writing documentation and when writing code
• Candidates must be available to work full time
• Candidates must reside in the local areas of Brisbane or Melbourne
• Demonstrated practical experience in designing and developing high quality solutions in large and complex, enterprise environments (preferably with Federal Government organisations).

Weighted Criteria

• Hands on or advanced level skills in developing technical SAP CRM solutions, with specific experience in the CRM One Order framework, OData and related components, including all relevant development environments and tools, for example SAPUI5, CRM,BOPF, BRF+.
• Knowledge of BOL/GENIL Browser, ADT, BADIs, SAPUI5, JavaScript, HTLM5, CSS3 may useful, however experience using BOPF, SAPUI5, CRM, BRF+ would be highly regarded.
• Demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment and dealing with ambiguity
• Ability to perform the requirements of the role within a large complex and geographically dispersed ICT environment
• Demonstrated experience working using both Agile and waterfall work styles
• Demonstrated high level communication, analytical and problem solving skills

• Is responsible for the design and configuration of new functional solutions, and for the ongoing operational support of ICT solutions.
• They are also responsible for designing and optimising enterprise-wide deployment of ICT technology solutions. 
• Senior System Analysts require an understanding of ICT product offerings and their interoperability with other components as well as a high level understanding of interface technology. 
• The System Analyst works under the limited direction of senior staff. 
• They exercise both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy, and in the application of practices and procedures. 
• Decision making is dependent on judgement, skills and knowledge. 
• The System Analyst manages and organises their own work in the context of competing priorities, including contributing to business planning, changes in workplace practices and business improvement strategies.
• The System Analyst may manage a team.

Duties for SYSTEM ANALYST may include some or all of the following:

• Manage and support a team including managing performance, attendance and health and wellbeing
• Manage a small team including setting local priorities, managing resources, and assisting with the development of work plans
• Monitor workloads to ensure business goals are achieved
• Develop staff capability through coaching, mentoring and training
• Perform high-level analysis and evaluation of business processes and requirements and propose and create solution specifications for projects
• Conduct technical / application assessments for projects and consider feasibility, effort and risks

SENIOR SYSTEM ANALYST  

MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 7+ YEARS EXPERIENCE IN AUSTRALIA AND MEET ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS OF SUPPORTING ROLE CRITERIA’S

• Is responsible for the successful planning and implementation of ICT solutions to support the overall business goals and objectives of the functional area. 
• Senior System Analysts are responsible for engaging and liaising with the business areas and customers to articulate process improvements and problem resolutions. 
• The Senior System Analyst exercises a considerable degree of independence, with decision-making substantially dependent on their high-level judgement and consideration of wider agency implications, with work being performed under the general guidance of senior staff. 
• In performing a leadership role, the Senior System Analyst drives innovation, changes in workplace practices and organises work in the context of competing priorities and strategic direction.

Duties for SENIOR SYSTEM ANALYST may include some or all of the following: 

• lead and support operations of the team, including monitoring business performance, setting priorities and managing resources and workflow
• lead and manage staff, including overseeing the management of performance, attendance and health and wellbeing
• develop staff capability through coaching, mentoring and succession planning to increase performance, engagement and retention
• oversee the development and implementation of the ICT solution
• highlight and identify gaps in existing functionality
• highlight and identify functional interdependencies undertake and contribute to business management, strategic planning and workforce planning 
•  assist with the management of finances, contracts, procurement, resources and expenditure within area of responsibility ensure project deliverables and milestones are met on time and within budget
• manage team contribution to costing process
• report on the achievement of business outcomes, key performance indicators and quality assurance to manage overall performance

Mandatory Criteria

• Demonstrated experience working in both multi-disciplinary agile and waterfall team environments
• Demonstrate experience as a lead System Analyst on a high profile and complex IT project
• Developing and documenting system specifications and modelling in consultation with technical experts e.g. UML and BPMN
• Assisting the Team developing computer systems and undertaking specialist activities and provide associated advice.
• Experience working with SAP CRM or ABAP would be highly desirable

Weighted Criteria

• Drive and participate in ICT analysis and design
• Demonstrate experience in examining long-term business requirements, suggest alternative plans and strategies and report on their feasibility and architectural issues
• Design and build user interface prototypes, mock-ups and wireframes
