We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us achieve our exciting growth plans for 2024 and hire the best talent in the streaming and gaming space in Melbourne!
Your role with us
Your mission should you choose to accept it, will be to shape the future of Easygo and contribute to the growth of our business in all areas. With multiple brands under our umbrella, you will be instrumental in identifying and attracting top-tier talent, who in turn will to drive growth and innovation across our respective brands Stake, Kick and Twist. You will collaborate closely with Hiring Managers and department heads, and lead end-to-end recruitment processes, from crafting compelling job descriptions to conducting interviews, negotiating offers and contributing to the overall culture @ Easygo.
You will leverage your expertise in sourcing and assessing candidates within the competitive fields of technology, gaming, marketing, design and many more. Your ability to navigate the evolving landscape of these industries will be crucial as we continue to build a team that is at the forefront of innovation and excellence. Outside of the day to day recruitment responsibilities you will get the chance to get involved in interviewing training, EVP and Talent Branding projects, as we aim to increase our audience and network in 2024. This role would be a fixed term contract for 12 months, with the view to go permanent at the end of the contract.

What you'll do:
Sourcing and Recruitment
Market open positions via our careers page, LinkedIn and job boards such as Seek, Indeed, Glassdoor, and Workforce Australia for visa candidates.
Source candidates utilising multiple streams including, resume databases, Boolean searches, industry contacts, professional networks, and referrals, and engage with active and passive talent on LinkedIn Recruiter and connect them to current job opportunities.
Prescreen candidates via phone, video, and/or in-person interviews. Evaluate applicants and submit a shortlist of top candidates for hiring manager to review, ensuring they are in line with salary benchmarking and schedule subsequent interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders.
Monitor and update our applicant tracking system, job boards, and employee referral program and support ‘diversity in hiring’ programs across multiple demographics and genders and help contribute to a welcoming workplace for who work all @ Easygo.
Talent Advisory
Partner with Hiring Managers to identify recruitment needs and candidate “must haves” and draft job descriptions to go to market.
Communicate with interview panels to ensure both Hiring Managers and candidates are fully prepared throughout the interview process.
Partner with Hiring Managers to identify competency questions for interview consistency and quality. Work closely with business leaders to influence effective recruitment approaches and set realistic expectations on time to fill, compensation, candidate pool quality, and market feedback.
Provide training and coaching to hiring managers and junior recruiting staff.
Employee Value Proposition
Collaborate with marketing, human resources and business leaders to establish an employer brand identity.
Assist in the management of our profiles on Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and other talent-related websites.
Contribute to our social media presence through positive posts.
Build and maintain positive relationships with external agencies, colleges, vendors, associations, and other bodies who might route talent to the organisation or aid in TA processes.
Candidate Experience
Ensure each and every candidate who goes through the interview process @ Easygo has a positive experience, and is updated and given constructive feedback throughout the process.
Draft and utilise templates for TA communications, such as application received messages, knockout notices, interview requests, rejection emails, and offer letters.
Manage candidate expectations and engage talent throughout the hiring process
Ensure Easygo remains a Circle Back Initiative Member, by responding to every applicant who applies.
What you'll bring:
You’ll bring with you significant experience as a Technical Recruiter, either in-house or with a mix of internal and agency.
Experience of engaging with and sourcing candidates across a range of sectors.
You’ll have worked supporting a Technology business units or within a Tech organisation, having networks and subject matter expertise across Development and Product talent markets.
You’ll know how to identify what needs to be done first and be able to prioritise and manage your time effectively, and are transparent in the way you work.
You’ll enjoy problem solving and enjoy the various challenges that come with a fast-paced and evolving organisation.
As a strong communicator, you enjoy dealing with various stakeholders and are open to learning new industries and new technology.
An ability to write creative job advertisements and assist with occasion website content.
A positive mindset when faced with challenging requirements and situations.
Contribute to our social media presence through positive posts on either LinkedIn or Instagram.
Bonus points if:
A bachlors degree in any line of work is desirable but not required.
Any IT related certifications such as Scrum Master, Project Management or Cloud certifications would be looked upon favouably
Any extra curricular activities such as appearing on talent related podcasts or speaking at meetups would also be looked upon favourably.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
