About The Role

The General Manager holds a pivotal role, steering the organisation toward strategic success, increased participation and sustained business growth. The General Manager will foster a culture of teamwork and excellence while ensuring ongoing, consistent customer service excellence. The ultimate goal of the General Manager is to drive the company forward, promoting positive health outcomes through sport participation and socialisation.


Roles & Responsibilities

Implement high-level strategic and administrative plans
Develop a strong operational acumen of internal systems
Lead, manage and develop administrative staff to ensure business standards
Liaise with key venue partners and business stakeholders
Identify business growth opportunities
Ensure a dedicated, consistent approach to customer service excellence
Develop and compose internal documentation
Prepare quarterly reports for key stakeholders


Experience & Skills

Demonstrated experience in the implementation of strategic and operational plans
Experience leading and managing a team to deliver outcomes
Knowledge of principles and practices of modern management and administration
Well-versed in identifying business growth opportunities
An enthusiastic, personable leader with strong communication skills
Dedicated approach to customer service excellence
Demonstrated experience with computer systems and software products
Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
Experience in sport is preferred but not required
