About the role

Maters Digital Technology and Information division is looking for a Senior Software Developer D365 FinOps, to join our Data and Digital Solutions team. Reporting into the Product Manager – D365 & Power Platforms, you will be integral in building high-quality, innovative, and fully performing maintainable software. This is a permanent and full-time position based at our Newstead corporate office!

As a senior member in the team, you will also provide technical leadership and mentoring to the other team members.

Typical tasks will include:

About you

As our new Senior D365 FinOps Software Developer you will be/have:

Tertiary qualifications in computer science or a related study, or equivalent experience.
Development & customisation experience of various FinOps modules – AP, GL, Core, Operational activities.
Experience in designing & creating solutions using Power Platform (Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, Power Automate Flows, Dataverse).
Experience in administering D365 FinOps environments and Power Platform environments and proficient in the use of LCS.
Strong experience in interfacing D365 solutions using native connectors or APIs to various integration platforms.
Ability to program in various programming languages including – X++, C#, .Net, Java based technologies, Python, JavaScript.
Demonstrated experience in using CI/CD tools such as Azure Pipelines, Octopus Deploy, Jenkins, or similar tool sets.
Experience in using source control tools such as Azure Repos, GitHub, Bit Bucket, and a good knowledge of TFVC and Git.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Opportunity

With strong growth in our Remanufacturing division, our Brisbane branch has an exciting opportunity for a Metal Machinist to join the team on the afternoon shift (2pm – 10pm). In this role, you will be studying drawings and specifications to determine suitable material, method and sequence of operations, and machine settings, fitting fabricated metal parts into products and assembling metal parts and sub assemblies to produce machines and equipment. You will also diagnosing faults and performing operational maintenance of machines, and overhauling and repairing mechanical parts and fluid power equipment

To be successful in this role you will:

Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else
Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) Fitter, Fitter and Turner, Metal Machinist
Have previous experience with the overhaul, repair and remanufacture of mechanical and hydraulic components
Have an understanding of Mining, Earthmoving and/or Construction equipment
Have the ability to recognise basic product quality deviations/faults
Hold good communication skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
Having experienced in a production line style workshop would be advantageous

About the Role

power generation and propulsion, including both numerical and experimental approaches to the study of land, sea and air based systems or
cognate technology areas that are critical to Australia’s transition to a cleaner energy future
The successful candidates will make a significant contribution to the teaching, research and administration of the Department. You will teach in graduate and undergraduate programs and take on administrative roles commensurate with the position. You will be a current or aspiring leader in international-quality research, with publications in high quality journals and conferences, and capacity to mentor research students and secure independent external grant and industry funding to support a program of research.

Your responsibilities will include:

Coordinate and conduct lectures and tutorials at undergraduate and postgraduate level, including engagement in teaching innovation and improvement;
Provide a significant degree of scholarly research initiative and collaboration in the specific discipline;
Build and foster partnerships with industry, government, collaborators at other Universities and other stakeholders that contribute to the engagement of teaching and research in the wider community engagement.
Who We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate for this role is a dynamic academic with expertise in power generation and propulsion or related fields, demonstrating leadership in research, a strong publication record, and a passion for mentoring students and contributing to the academic community. You should also exhibit strong collaboration skills, a commitment to excellence in teaching, and a proactive approach to securing research grants and exploring innovative advancements in your field.

You will also have:

A PhD in power generation or propulsion;
Demonstrated ability to perform independent research evidenced through a track record of publications in high-impact peer-reviewed and refereed journals;
Demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary research.
