About the role:

As the Operations Information Management Specialist, you will support our Operations team in managing the ongoing operations and support of our Data Centres. You will enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and data management practices, driving continuous improvement initiatives and optimising processes.

Reporting to the Operations Centre of Excellence Manager, you will collaborate across various CDC disciplines to maintain high standards of documentation integrity and facilitate smooth operational workflows. Additionally, you will manage our Operations Information environment and standardise formats and structures across all DC operations sites.

Key Accountabilities:

Operations Systems Support: Manage daily system operations, troubleshoot and resolve issues, provide user support, and deploy system updates while analysing processes for improvement.

Document Management System Implementation: Develop and maintain a document tracking system, organise and secure documents, enforce control policies, maintain standards, and ensure compliance.

Document Reviews and Approvals: Set and coordinate standards for document creation, review, and approval, addressing feedback and ensuring quality compliance.

Communication, Training, and Support: Create and update user guides and training materials, deliver training sessions, provide technical support, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Monitoring and Reporting: Track document status, generate activity reports, and align document management practices with organisational goals.

About you: 

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in information management, a keen eye for detail, and experience in complex environments. As CDC experiences a period of growth and development, this position will be crucial in enhancing existing operational workflows and implementing new systems and processes.

Experience:

• Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of Microsoft tools and information management software.
• Experience in data management, document control, or information systems administration.
• Proficiency in database applications and excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  

Desirable skills:

• Strong technical skills, with a clear understanding of Microsoft Dynamics, SharePoint, and other SaaS systems, including proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs. 
• Microsoft Dynamics certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-310, MB-320). 
• Developed skills in document control, data management, and information governance specific to data centre operations.
  

Essential:

Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Technology Adoption & Support Specialist to join the Talent team! This is a key role within the Business Applications team, where your time will be split amongst system adoption, system training and customer support.

Some of what you’ll be doing

• Facilitate training for new starters and refresher sessions on core business applications (e.g., Bullhorn and LinkedIn).
• Create and maintain LMS modules, user guides, and Help Centre articles to support training and documentation.
• Provide level 1 support for core applications, including ticket management, issue resolution, and change request documentation.
• Maintain a registry and manage incident communication, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Develop and maintain communication templates and pipelines for project updates and alerts.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders and stand in for the Change and Technology Manager as needed.

In this role you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the technological landscape for NEXTDC while fostering a positive and dynamic team culture.

About the Job

The Information Security Cloud Analyst is responsible for safeguarding Rest’s cloud-based systems encompassing a broad range of activities including evaluating and mitigating risks, formulating cloud-specific security strategies, continuously watching for cyber threats, ensuring regulatory compliance, and responding to security incidents.

Additionally, the Information Security Cloud Analyst will create secure cloud designs and guardrails, educate employees on best practices, assess third-party vendors for security risks, maintain cloud security policies, and manage various cloud security technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deliver & monitor security controls in cloud platforms, with primary focus on AWS.
• Provide strategic security and risk guidance for cloud security and related projects, including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls and platform architectural designs.
• Operate, enhance and evolve cloud-native and third-party SaaS cloud security tooling to assure security posture of the cloud platform meets internal and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Prioritise & ensure remediation of vulnerabilities identified through cloud security standards, policies & tools.
• Produce technical solutions and standard operating procedures for Security Operating Centre (SOC) to triage and respond efficiently to security events.
• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions across the business to uplift Cloud Security awareness to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advise workload owners, developers & business partners to improve cloud security posture across cloud infrastructure, application & software delivery.
• Follow strict information security processes, plans and protocols in managing the life cycle of issues and incidents, which may include collaborating with internal stakeholders, vendors or third parties.
• Support the uplift of cyber incident management capabilities collaborating with information security governance, risk & operations
• Promote and reinforce security standards, policies and procedures ensuring ongoing compliance and, where gaps exist, develop plans for remediation.
• Participate in audits as required, collating, and providing information including closing out of audit issues.
