Latitude Recruitment is excited to be recruiting a Planning & GIS Officer on behalf of Green Triangle Forestry Products . As the Planning & GIS Officer, you will be responsible for the management and development of key GTFP spatial and planning systems in accordance with strategic goals. ? You will also provide in-house technical support to GTFP operational staff through maintenance and improvement of LRM spatial data, workplans, mapping, operational planning, and infield data capture and access. ?
Responsibilities:
Manage and further develop key GTFP spatial and planning systems, including the Land Resource Management system (LRM), Geographic Information System (GIS), and infield data capture
Lead the improvement of electronic field-based data capture and data management systems.
Use specialised GIS techniques to support remote sensing and other related technologies.
Maintain, improve, and analyse the geographic databases associated with GTFP's plantations ?and biodiversity areas
