The Role

The Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for the management and execution of the planning regime for selected categories through our supply chain to meet the service expectations of the growing 7-Eleven store network. The objective of this being to lead in-store product availability and support the resolution of demand and supply issues across our network.

With a focus on improving product availability and customer service without compromising working capital and efficiency, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of the consensus demand plan, inventory and replenishment plans with consideration of the impacts to the category ambitions.

• Build the consensus demand, inventory and replenishment plan incorporating historical analysis & market insight gathered in conjunction with the Category & Marketing teams.
• Collate and distribute forecasts, generate & input to information decks for relevant meetings within the S&OP process.
• Review validity of the information and planning process, validate consistency with category and marketing plans and identify any anomalies or exceptions.
• Ensure that all the planning specific supply chain processes are coordinated to ensure effective and successful delivery of products to the stores.
• Monitor availability issues and devise solutions for the identified issues, escalating where required and appropriate.

What’s in your toolkit? 

• Experience in demand and/or supply planning, preferably within a retail environment
• Good business acumen and an understanding of the inter-relationships between each function
• Proven ability in solving demand and supply related issues working with internal and external stakeholders
• Demonstrated proficiency with data analytics, statistics and forecasting
• Experience in working with large sets of data to drive insights
• Knowledge of Power BI would be beneficial

About the Role (your why)

The Financial Reporting and Billing Analyst is a hands-on financial analyst responsible for day-to-day cost management, invoice generation and commercial reviews and analysis. You will achieve this by being proactive in identifying opportunities to perform value-added tasks to support the business in achieving its objectives.

Working with our dedicated customer teams, you will be the first point of contact for all financial queries. You will liaise with the finance team and the broader business to ensure a high standard of service is provided for all queries.

Our offices are based in Canberra or Melbourne, we like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. We therefore leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best! 

Please note that to be successful in this role you will need to be an Australian Citizen, and be eligible for Baseline/ NV1 Security Clearance.

What you’ll do    

• Collate and QA monthly invoices and supporting documentation
• Manage and resolve billing queries and escalation from the customer
• Follow up customer aged debt and purchase orders
• Prepare daily, monthly and ad hoc BAU reports and billing data
• Perform data trend analysis and present on billing trends across the delivery teams
• Establish and develop key relationships with the customer

We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and presentation skills. You will enjoy establishing effective working relationships with both internal and external staff.

Key to your success in the role is an understanding of basic commercial and financial concepts. You will have solid Microsoft Excel skills – and be keen to get your geek on with a spreadsheet!
