We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Investment Operations Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of fund operations and investment processes. Responsibility

• Take ownership of daily fund operations and investment activities, including managing new investor unit registry, subscriptions, distributions, redemptions, and investor records using our established system.
• Perform basic fund-level bookkeeping monthly to support NAV and IAS reporting.
• Assist in the financial year-end process for FATCA/CRS reporting, AIIR, Tax Statements, etc.
• Cultivate positive relationships with external service providers such as custodians, investment counterparties, and bankers.
• Assist in due diligence on underlying investments, primarily fixed-income securities like public bonds, private credits, and short-term securities.
• Analyze investment performance and broad market data to provide insights for reporting and decision-making.

About the role:

The Corporate Finance Associate is a key role in the business supporting financial modelling of “whole of business” quarterly and annual corporate valuations, input to treasury (debt raising) activities, scenario analysis on alternative capital structure and operating models, and of business cases for new data centre investments. The role is financially oriented and provides input to corporate strategy processes, which are managed by the Corporate Strategy team.

• Contribute to quarterly and annual corporate valuations, updating assumptions based on SLT and line manager feedback.

• Prepare scenario and sensitivity analyses for the board, senior leadership team, and other audiences.

• Collaborate with business unit operational and financial personnel to maintain assumptions, prepare business insights, and provide analytical commentary.

Capital Management

• Support the Treasury team with funding scenario options, new debt raising processes, and reporting on CDC’s credit metrics.
• Investment Analysis and Business Growth.
• Collaborate with business unit personnel on modelling for new data centre investments.
• Respond to information requests and reporting for new investments, transactions, refinancing, and valuations for various stakeholders.

About you: 

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in financial modelling who are looking to transition their career, possibly considering an in-house position as their next step. As an extension of the Corporate Financial Manager, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with other senior financial leaders in our rapidly growing business.

• Proven advanced financial modelling experience with advanced Excel functionality, particularly in investment management principles (such as IRR, NPV), cash flow analysis, debt covenants, model architecture, and scenario analysis.
• A background in the infrastructure or property sectors is advantageous but not required.

The Role:

As an Associate Consultant or Associate Analyst, you will be a valued team member on consulting projects for our public sector clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Employing cutting-edge analytics techniques, such as machine learning and statistical modelling.
• Extracting and interpreting key insights, crafting compelling visualizations and outputs that resonate with our clients and stakeholders.
• Present insights and findings with clarity in client meetings, influencing decision-making and policy design.

What might your days look like

As our Billing Analyst in our Global Finance Team, working closely with the Head of Financial Operations, you will be the billing expert powering our global finance operations that serves Employment Hero’s millions of customers worldwide.

The ideal candidate is a high potential finance professional with a strong billing foundation, boasting 2+ years of experience in financial billing and reporting, ideally within a SaaS environment. You hold a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional experience) in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field and are proficient in platforms such as Zuora/NetSuite/Recurly and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, or any other similar tools.

As our Billing Analyst, you’ll be:

• End to end customer billing processes, including review and approval of usage reports and processing the monthly bill runs
• Managing adjustments to billing accounts and ad hoc billing requests
• Responding to and resolving customer billing issues
• Monthly billing reporting and analysis
• Billing system administration including customer accounts, product catalogue, subscriptions and workflows
• Investigating errors and revenue leakage reporting
• Ad hoc reporting
• Recommending process improvements

What will you bring 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience in a billing role with significant exposure to SaaS billing systems
• Able to systematically work through billing scenarios
• Commercial mindset with the ability to work in a high-paced, dynamically changing environment where ruthless prioritisation is a necessity.
• This role is uniquely tailored for those who are intellectually curious, enjoy diving deep into complex problems, and thrive in both autonomous and team environments.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Zuora experience preferable
