About the Job

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Sydney, Australia, for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will focus on managing complex projects within the insurance and superannuation sector, driving innovation and efficiency in our operations.

• Lead and oversee multiple high-impact projects in the insurance and superannuation domain, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including risk assessments, resource allocation, and budget forecasts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and key performance indicators
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and key stakeholders
• Implement and maintain project management best practices, methodologies, and tools across the organization
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within project delivery
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure project alignment with compliance requirements
• Mentor and guide junior project team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing

You will be responsible for two distinct job responsibilities Retail Marketing and brand pitching. You will be responsible for developing and executing retail marketing plans across ANZ with retailers and key licensees, that leverages the richness of NBCUniversal’s entertainment content. Developing short and long-term retail channel strategies driving annual growth to build a sustainable business that achieves annual revenue targets. You will pitch local franchise marketing plans that leverage the strength of the NBCUniversal’s franchise portfolio, category and consumer priorities. The role will be responsible for delivering consumer and retail, balancing the demands of delivering marketing activations that drive ROI and promoting retail sell-in of ranges.

Retail Marketing, planning and execution:

• Develop, maintain, and drive relationships across marketing and buyers in conjunction with category teams to create programs that drive product placement and sell through for a designated retail partners
• Develop long range Curate, present, and execute sales driving retail marketing programs in line with brand guidelines and individual retailer expectations - events, digital, print, radio, TV, cinema, social, trading banners, POS etc.
• Developing short and long-term (+18 months) retail channel strategies driving annual growth
• Proactively identifying new retail accounts to pitch and secure
• Proactively conceptualise and develop cross promotions with other Universal divisions
• Sharing of best practice with ANZ SEAI teams to ensure creative is consistent and on brand and materials can be shared broadly across APAC and globally
• Remain competitively aware of competitors’ retail programs & share best practices/results
• Manage execution and account management of assigned marketing partnerships with retail accounts; includes in-store marketing, promotions, sweepstakes, out-of-home, print, online/mobile content, packaging, premiums, etc.
• Managing the retail marketing budget for designated retail partners
• Approve all retail marketing submissions for designated retailers
• Provide comprehensive marketing program recaps and post analysis including measurable results, ROI, and how we compare to competitive programs and maintain examples of best in class programs to help drive the planning process
• Regular attendance of trade shows and social industry functions where applicable – e.g Australian Toy, Hobby and Licensing Fair. Brand Marketing:
• Create and pitch to key licensee and designated retailers through engaging brand and retail presentations
• Attend top-tier retail and licensee meetings (i.e. master toy partner) in region, to share brand and retail plans
• Support the team with the coordination of all events in region (summits, KPM’s, trade shows)
• Support the team with any franchise marketing programs across ANZ • Support where needed all key selling and brand events (partner summits, immersion sessions, top to tops)
• Partner with global marketing and retail marketing teams to secure required presentations
• Ideate and develop compelling franchise campaigns with focused retail activation plans

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for proactively supporting the Commercial Director to drive the regional strategic objectives and budget targets. This includes helping to manage the appointed Consumer Products Agents to deliver business growth in key categories, as well as distributors, licensees and retail partners

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with the Commercial Director to deliver the commercial and strategic objectives for SEA and India through proactive management of third-party agents.
• Maintain a day-to-day relationship with external Agent teams, to focusing on growth across key categories and retail accounts aligned to strategic goals to meet budget targets.
• Unlock the direct relationship with Regional Distributors to drive further regional growth with key master toy partners
• Work collaboratively with the internal UPE teams, (Legal, Finance, Category, Retail, Franchise) to ensure clear communication s to Agents and information flow on key deliverables are maintained.
• Ensure incoming deal memos meet Business and Region Guidelines to deliver business growth aligned to Category strategy.
• Responsibility to ensure prompt deal memo entry via CRM system and tracking critical path with Team Manager to Fully Executed contract status, complying to Company timelines and procedures.
• Work with our Retail & Franchise Director and Agent teams to deliver compelling cross-category Retail campaigns to build 365 consumer engagement including liaising on asset requirements and delivery and submission approvals
• Be a Brand champion for all retail marketing submissions and approvals.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across multiple divisions: Category, Franchise, Retail, Creative, Parks, Theatrical, T V, Distribution and Digital teams to ensure all information shared with Agents is up-to-date and relevant to deliver on business objectives in appointed markets.
• Work inter-divisionally to maximise “Symphony” marketing synergies to enhance cross category launches and sell-through at key accounts.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, Master Toy, Agent Teams, Distributors and Licensees to deliver accurate records and reports on launch collections and retail placement. • Working with the UP&E Creative Team to inspire licensees with new product ideas through innovative use of assets and creative concepts
• Working closely with the UP&E Creative Team to oversee product development life cycle from concept to release into retail
• Drive additional growth across the region by identifying gaps in categories, and markets
• Help co-ordinate business review presentations to cover key seasonal & consumer moments and maintain retail calendars for Agent markets
• Help with diary management of team schedule, arranging conference calls to fit regular business cadence and commercial deadlines.
• Maintaining databases, spreadsheets and tracking documents liaising internally and externally where required.
• Sharing best practice examples with Agent Teams to cover product category and retail.

Administration

• Stakeholder management, monitoring the status of all activities to provide weekly report updates.
• Planning retail pitch meetings, travel and accommodation arrangements
• Manage expenses in timely manner Communication and Culture

As our City Facility Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering NEXTDC’s brand promise of 100% uptime to our customers, by successfully maintaining an assigned portfolio of NEXTDC data centres within New South Wales.  

This position effectively manages senior members within the facility team and provides day-to day support to enable their success of maintaining grey-space areas to a high standard, and for white-space areas to be provisioned in accordance with customer requirements and expectations.  

Within this role you’ll also promote and embed continuous improvement principles within the team to ensure NEXTDC’s data centres remain to be at the forefront of customer service excellence and innovation.  

People Management 

• Embed a high performing culture within the team 
• Ensure complete resourcing of team members across the assigned portfolio, accounting for customer requirements, maintenance and commissioning scheduling requirements and safety protocols. 
• Facilitate the teams’ development through identifying learning and development opportunities, coaching and on-the-job training 

Data Centre Management 

• Manage operational risk of the facilities within the assigned portfolio to ensure 100% uptime 
• Obtain and maintain relevant data centre certifications for the facilities within the assigned portfolio, including ISO90001, ISO270001, ISO140001, ISO45001 
• Ensure operational excellence to achieve and maintain UTI uptime operational sustainability Gold standard 
• Manage the Operational budget of the facilities within the assigned portfolio to ensure critical plant is maintained at optimum efficiency, and coordinate the implementation of tuning where required  
• Manage the facility capacity planning to forecast and maximise capital investment 
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of your facilities critical infrastructure, including but not limited to electrical and mechanical systems to ensure there is no deferred maintenance 

Risk Management  

• Identify and report all operational, security and WHS incidents  
• Assist in the identification and management of risks listed in the Site Risk Register. Proactively report and escalate any identified risks that are unable to be managed to Head of Facility Management. 
• Conduct regular reviews with the Services Manager to ensure all staff, contractors and stakeholders are being informed of their obligations and associated responsibilities in regards to facility related risks (as per PTW)
