This position will be a part of our Social Activity Group with the key focus being to work alongside older people whilst in the supported social activity group to enable their identified needs and goals to be fulfilled, to make decisions and choices about their own lives, to facilitate their access and participation in their community, and to remain living in their homes independently.

Although a typical day might be hard to come across, you will regularly be engaging with the clients in groups on outings or in our centre as they challenge their minds in a variety of activities or even at a simple gathering sharing stories.

Social Activity Group responsibilities:

• Assist and work alongside older people whilst in a supported group to enable their identified needs and goals to be fulfilled.
• Encourage and support people to actively participate in planning and feedback forums when making decisions about the service they receive, and ensure activities are responsive to this feedback.
• Regularly engage with clients in groups on outings or in our centre as they challenge their minds in a variety of activities or even at a simple gathering sharing stories.

Who we’re looking for

Role Overview:

As the Technical Customer Consultant Team Leader, you will:

• Manage a team of 6 customer support staff, addressing the joys and challenges of staff management.
• Report to a manager based in the Netherlands.
• Collaborate with local Team Leaders for ANZ (4 in total) to share information, support new project implementations, and resolve local technical issues.
• Support the suite products.
• Ensure the team systematically stays updated with product updates, fixes, and other relevant information.
• Act as the escalation point for more complex client issues.
• Liaise with overseas offices and similar teams to align on information and operating expectations for the ANZ region.
• Oversee a 5-day support operation, Monday to Friday, from approximately 7 am to 10 pm.

As a Support Worker, you will be managing a caseload of clients whom you will assist resolve and/or reduce barriers to stable self-care with low intensity community supports or access higher intensity/duration supports to achieve therapeutic outcomes.

Responsibilities of the role: 

• Assist clients (aged between 16 to 65 years) by delivering psychosocial support to work towards identified recovery goals. 
• Improve clients capacity for self-management of their mental illness, & develop the knowledge and confidence they need to make decisions & choices about their own support needs.
