SCOPE: • The Customer Support Engineer position directly reports to the VTA’s Project Manager and supports ADB products in customer locations for product support, field testing and/or commercial deployments. - Negotiation with sub-suppliers and customers on behalf of Andritz Hydro
- Remain informed and up to date with regard to Industry related news, competition activities and product knowledge (Market Intelligence)
- Continuously and actively develop personal skills and knowledge relative to performance obligations
- Establish and develop the appropriate sales/service strategy for the sales of engineering services, supply contract for mechanical and electrical equipment in the Hydropower industry throughout Australia
- Identify new opportunities, promote new technologies, and/or replacement or modernisation of machinery and parts
- Respond to requests for sales opportunities through the development of proposals including bid formulation, reviews, approvals and submission, in consultation with key stakeholders
