About the role

Working as the Manager of the Warehouse & Fulfilment team at our Brisbane Warehouse based in Banyo, you’ll have an intimate knowledge and interest in all facets of the warehouse including operations, personnel and stock movements.

The ideal candidate will be very organised and detail oriented, comfortable leading a small team and will have a customer service attitude. This position will be responsible for the day to day operations of the warehouse, including the successful receipt, organisation, picking, packing and delivery of our product, ensuring a premium experience for our customers.

Reporting to the Finance and Operations Manager and working closely with our sales team,

Your role centers on:

• Managing the daily operations of the warehouse and a small warehouse team,
• Overseeing the daily picking process to ensure orders are picked and shipped accurately, high attention to detail a must,
• Managing stock receipt from overseas (containers) and domestic suppliers, ensuring all incoming stock is accurately counted and receipted,
• Managing the local and domestic freighting of product to customers, ranging from high end retail customers to trade clients (builders, tilers and landscapers),
• Managing the flow of inventory through our ERP system with regular and accurate stock takes,
• Attending to clients and delivery drivers upon arrival to the warehouse,
• Lead the Warehouse WHS procedures,
• Initiate and recommend continuous improvement initiatives,

As the Store Manager, you'll lead from the front, ensuring that we continue to provide exceptional customer service to our riders, motivating the team to achieve store targets and working intentionally to create a culture of team engagement and performance. You will diligently manage the daily operations of the store, maintaining high standards of presentation and organisation. You'll be a creative solutions-focused leader, implementing policies and procedures to optimise store performance, willing to accept nothing but the best possible outcomes for Zoomo. You will love a challenge, embrace change and demonstrate an ownership mindset at all times.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the store, including rentals, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision
• Ensure a positive customer experience by providing exceptional service and product knowledge
• Develop and implement strategies to drive rental growth and meet revenue targets
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and create replenishment plans
• Train, coach, and mentor staff to achieve their full potential and meet rental targets
• Create a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters teamwork and professional growth
• Plan and execute in-store events, promotions, and marketing initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards

• 2 years + of management experience in a high-paced retail or bicycle workshop environment
• 2 years + of bicycle repair experience
• Experience working in the cycling or food-delivery industries is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
• Attention to detail and strong organisational abilities
