The Workforce Optimisation team is responsible for several outsourced projects and services for some of our biggest clients in Datacom. The Workforce Planning Manager is responsible for analysing, forecasting, and planning workforce supply and demand, as well as talent needs and gaps, to ensure that an organisation has the right people with the right skills to support its business objectives.

Our offices are based in Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane. We like to bring people together in person when we can, but we are mindful of the benefits of working from home for work/ life balance. Therefore, we leave it to you and the team you join to figure out what works best! 

Please note that to be successful in this role, you must be an Australian Citizen and be able to obtain a Baseline or NV1 security clearance.

What you’ll do   

The Workforce Planning Manager is responsible for (but not limited to):

• Analysing, implementing, and monitoring workforce planning initiatives to optimise and scale the evolving workforce and long-range plans.
• Collaborating with business leaders, strategic planning, HR, Finance, and other stakeholders across the company to review existing and future workforce needs and to ensure alignment with business objectives and financial goals.
• Collecting, interpreting, and evaluating workforce metrics to provide data-driven insights for internal and external talent pool assessments, headcount reviews, forecasting and business scenario planning, reviewing processes, and monitoring plan effectiveness.
• Lead the development, execution, and communication of the company’s workforce planning roadmap to optimise and scale an evolving global workforce and to create strategic long-range plans.
• Oversee workforce planning initiatives, including headcount metrics analysis, internal and external talent assessments, forecasting, plan roll-out, processes, and controls.
• Selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

What you’ll bring  

• Extensive experience with workforce planning and scheduling in a large complex organisation – Ideally within a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) environment
• Strong understanding of business requirements with an appreciation of business strategy, forecasting and workforce behaviour
• Ability to work on moderately complex assignments, requiring judgment in resolving issues and making recommendations.
• Assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
• Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders and team members across different business units
• Blend of commercial, technical, and consulting skills.
• Strong financial management practices with a clear understanding of the relationship between costs, utilisation, and project revenue

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Health and Safety Manager to join our team based in the Sodexo Head Office working within the E&R Mining Sector and reporting to the Health and Safety Manager. This Permanent role is being offer on a 5 days on 2 days off / 4 days on 3 days off roster and requires site travel to the Pilbara region as needed.

You will work closely with operations and our client to assist with the management of HSE objectives, strategies and accountabilities. You will schedule HSE functions to support operations and act as a point of contact for operational and business departments. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute health and safety plans
• Prepare and enforce policies to drive culture of health and safety
• Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence
• Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
• Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations
• Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and work with IM platform
• Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures
• Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics

Team Summary
The Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific (AuNZSP) Group Country Manager and their team are responsible for executing Visa's strategy in the countries that make up the AuNZSP cluster. 

The Group Country Manager’s (GCM) leadership team is made up of the Country Manager of New Zealand & South Pacific, key client Sales Leaders and core Visa function leaders.  

What a Group Country Manager, AuNZSP does at Visa:
The Group Country Manager has overall management responsibility for all aspects of Visa’s AuNZSP business operations, including P&L responsibility for the Visa business in the markets. They will be expected to effectively develop local initiatives and deploy Visa’s relevant global solutions across the group to strengthen Visa’s client and other partnerships and drive local and regional business growth.  This is achieved through:

Strategic and Operational Leadership

• Design and execute strategies and key initiatives to achieve Visa’s Core, Value Added Services (VAS) and Commercial & Money Movement Services (CMS) business growth and performance goals for the AuNZSP cluster.
• Monitor the local development of various industries including payments, banking and financial services and technology/big data for trends, as well as other factors with the potential to impact Visa’s current and future business in AuNZSP and across Asia Pacific. 

• Identify and prioritize new business opportunities in AuNZSP and determine the appropriate level of resource investment to pursue effectively. Reprioritizing resources where necessary.
• Lead Visa’s strategy with government, central bank and other regulatory institutions within AuNZSP.
• Broadly represent Visa across multiple areas from sales to regulatory affairs to corporate and social responsibility by speaking at conferences and business forums and undertaking media/public relations activities to drive positive perceptions of the company.
• As a member of the Asia Pacific Leadership Team (APLT), effectively collaborate with fellow APLT members to help set and execute the overall regional strategy.

Client and Stakeholder Partnerships

• Develop, cultivate and maintain deep partnership with client CEOs, management teams, decision-makers and other influencers within Visa’s clients, banks, national banking associations, key merchants, merchant associations as well as prospective and existing Fin Tech partners.
• Ensure that client account plans are up to date with current priorities and opportunities, aligned with Visa’s functional priorities and that these client account plans are executed with excellence.
• Engage regulators and other government entities in collaboration with the Visa Government Engagement team around Visa’s ability to drive stronger economic growth, business innovation and financial inclusion. 

People Leadership and Management

• Lead and manage Visa’s AuNZSP team, managing Visa’s current talent and hiring new staff to expand the team’s capabilities. Actively engage employees with exceptional communications skills and commitment by role modelling the behaviors underlying Visa’s four leadership principles.
• Collaborate directly with all functions (VCA, MS&A, Product & Solutions, Marketing, Clients Services, Risk, Finance, HR, Government Engagement, Legal, Corporate Comms), to ensure that each function contributes to and supports the execution of the Cluster’s strategic agenda.
• Take a thoughtful and diverse approach to talent acquisition and talent management, attracting, developing and retaining outstanding talent, whilst also continuing to raise the performance expectations of the team.  Ensure appropriate succession planning is in place for key roles, maximize employee engagement and ensure all staff have meaningful development plans. Create a sense of community and drive a culture of genuine inclusion for the cluster.

Warehouse Manager

This is a permanent position reporting directly to the Plant Manager.
You will manage warehouse staff across 24/5 operating facility, create and implement processes and procedures, drive best practice and continuous improvement to maximize efficiencies and improve operational performance whilst ensuring a safe workplace for all team members.
We are seeking a practical 'hands-on' person with a 'can-do' attitude who is capable of managing multiple concurrent responsibilities.

The core responsibilities of this role:

• Overseeing daily warehouse operations, inclusive of managing all warehouse duties such as: shipping, receiving of materials, unpacking, stocking, picking goods for shipment and ensure these are all completed within company guidelines and company/customer timelines
• Maintaining quality control of incoming and outgoing shipments
• Managing resources effectively
• Working with management to meet budgetary and operational goals
• Ensure that the daily work tasks are performed within operational guidelines and in a safe and efficient manner
• Training and mentoring team members
• Evaluating overall performances of each team member
• Stock management and control across multiple warehouses
• Coordinating with freight forwarders in relation to incoming containers
• Developing and implementing growth strategies
• Develop and implement improvements to operational procedures to maximize efficiency and cut operational costs
• Warehouse related HR duties
• Liaison with all departments
• Regular reporting to the leadership team
• General organizing and keeping warehouse tidy and in order

The successful candidate will have:

• Previous distribution experience in a senior leadership role
• Continuous improvement focus
• Experience in  driving change in procedures and processes to reduce cost and improve efficiencies.
• IT  knowledge including a strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems, specifically knowledge in SAP Service Pack one (SP1)
• Inventory and stock management experience, ability to lead and improve on stock takes, receiving and SLOBs management
• Advanced skills in analyzing data for operational and performance reporting
• Strong problem-solving skills
