About the role

We are currently seeking Expression of Interests from highly motivated Geospatial Data Support Officers what will join our team to provide technical support to users of Defence's Mission Planning System by acquiring, translating and storing the geospatial data so that end users have the appropriate information to successfully plan their missions. The candidates we are hoping to hear from need to be able to use common geospatial software to achieve this.

The Geospatial Data Support Officer would work as part of the Canberra-based Geospatial Team that would assist activities related to Mission Planning Systems supporting ADF aviation and intelligence customers. Candidates would have the opportunity to participate in precision GNSS survey collection activities to support the MQ-4C Triton.

About the Role (your why)

As Senior Cybersecurity Analyst/ Technical Account Manager, you’ll manage and oversee the vulnerability management program for government customers. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, prioritising, and reporting on the security vulnerabilities of the customer’s systems and applications. You will interact with multiple technical delivery teams and customer application and system owners to ensure timely and effective remediation of the vulnerabilities. You’ll be Canberra based and happy to be onsite with our customer approx. 2 days per week. What you’ll do

ABOUT the ROLE This role is integral to shaping and delivering the AIFFP’s agenda by supporting the quality preparation and implementation of loan and grant based investments and supporting the investment lifecycle. Working collaboratively supporting the AIFFP Team, the role also provides technical support to the broader team. OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to) Draft investment and implementation documents, complying with relevant processes. Provide support on specific transactions, drawing on technical skills (in ICT, transport, energy or water sectors combined with experience in project finance) to identify and assess quality infrastructure projects considering development, strategic and financial factors.   Contribute to due diligence on the counterparties (sponsor, EPC, proposed financing partners, major off takers) and all associated contract/ agreements. Support the management of complex investments for successful implementation, with partners, of agreed investments (may include more than one), engaging closely with diplomatic mission on all monitoring activities to ensure quality implementation meeting local content and gender equity and social inclusion targets as well as requirements for social and environmental safeguards.   Draft all contracts and associated procurement. DEMONSTRATED ABILITIES Demonstrated knowledge in the infrastructure sector, preferably in the Pacific and Timor-Leste. This role does not involve software licensing sales targets.

This role can be based out of any Datacom office in Australia. Australian Citizenship is essential for Federal Government security clearance requirements. Preferably, you'll be a holder of either a current or lapsed Baseline clearance or higher.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a proactive, highly skilled, and enthusiastic team member who’s interested in being part of a larger group delivering high-quality SAM solutions to our customers.

You’ll bring expertise developed over 5+ years in a Software Asset Management role as you will be undertaking a range of interesting activities relating to software licensing, audit, and compliance management on behalf of our customers. You will also be supporting the delivery of the Software Asset Management (SAM) managed services and projects for multiple customers from Commercial and Government industries.

You will have advanced critical thinking skills, an ability to interpret and apply logical decision making to a variety of data, and you must be able to deliver your analysis, findings, and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

Your ability to work with other members of the SAM and customer management team to develop and deliver quality solutions for our customer is critical to the success of our SAM Consulting and Managed services.

What You’ll Do

In this role you will work collaboratively with other Software Asset Management (SAM) team members, Software Licensing Consultants, and Customer account teams. Essentially, the Software Asset Management Consultant will:

• Act as Consulting SAM Subject Matter Expert for our customers.
• Deliver SAM Consulting services relevant to today’s changing technology landscape and market demands.
• Deliver Compliance Reviews (Effective Licensing Position) for Customers.
• Review current software licensing Terms and Conditions, License Agreements, and License Contracts to identify any breaches or risks for our customers.
• Apply knowledge of licensing rules and use rights within SAM Consulting Services.
• Analyse, document, and present licensing modelling recommendations.
• Identify license reclamation opportunities to achieve cost avoidance outcomes.
• Propose remediation and optimisation activities that may result in reduced compliance risk and/or financial savings and cost avoidance outcomes.
• Contribute to the achievement of project outcomes while managing compliance and commercial risks for customers.
• Provide quality customer service through adherence to Datacom’s Asset Management service delivery methodology and processes.
• Utilise SAM technologies and their capabilities including Flexera’s FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS) and/or Snow License Manager.
• Interpret data outputs from the SAM technologies and other tools to provide accurate and timely reporting.
• Liaise with service management, and customer teams to define, optimise, and develop SAM standards, processes, procedures, plans and controls to ensure appropriate service asset information is recorded and maintained.
