The position requires The National blood Authority is looking for a Deputy Chief Finance officer to join its management and business services team. The ideal candidate will be highly organised team player who has a can-do attitude and also have an understanding in internal budgeting, office management, reports, stakeholder engagement. Key responsibilities Monitor and report on financial results against departmental and administered budgets. Lead the preparation of internal budgets. Assist the CFO to implement system change and other business improvement activities, including finance and accounting practices. Providing expert advice to government agencies and industry regarding the Clean Energy regulators work on climate related disclosures. Stake holder engagement and partnerships with key organisations and market bodies. Contribute to the NBA’s organisational strategy and culture. Requirements and qualifications Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and translate complex information. Relationship management with Government and industry Project management skills. Negotiation capabilities Demonstrate a history of collaborating to deliver the best outcomes. Research, interpretation, analysis of policy. Accounting qualifications if you can demonstrate transferable skills from the commercial sector this could be your chance.
