The Role

We currently have a great opportunity for an Environmental Sustainability Business Partner (ESBP) to join the NRMA’s ESG team on a full-time permanent basis.

The role offers the flexibility to work from home and across our Sydney CBD offices and/or Olympic Park as agreed and required for the role.

The ESBP plays a critical role in helping to mature the NRMA’s sustainability performance – embedding our emissions reduction initiatives and environmental standards, and improving environmental reporting within partner business units while uplifting BU capability in, and commitment to, sustainability.

Reporting to and working alongside the Senior Manager of Group Environmental Sustainability, the ESBP will be responsible for delivering key sustainability-related projects, collaborating with BU stakeholders and immediate team members to understand sustainability and business issues, identifying, and evaluating potential solutions, and communicating recommendations to leaders and stakeholders in a compelling way. As such, strong analytical skills (i.e. Excel analysis) and communication skills (i.e. PowerPoint storytelling for decision making and engagement), as well as confident and empathetic stakeholder management and relationship building, are must-have qualities.

About You

The successful candidate will bring a solid understanding and demonstrated experience in fundamental environmental management practices to lead the setting of environmental standards across relevant Business Units by developing, reviewing, and implement Environmental and Sustainability standards and procedures, identifying environmental risks, and identifying and addressing opportunities to improve environmental management.

The ideal candidate will bring the following;

• A bachelor’s degree in environmental management, business management, accounting, or finance.
• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience working for large, complex organisations or consultancy firm with demonstrated experience in the areas of environmental sustainability management and/or ESG reporting and ESG strategy.
• Experience planning and delivering large sustainability projects in a structured manner to a high standard. Ability to work across multiple projects and prioritise time and attention to the highest-impact topics
• Strong analytical skills, including comfort with Excel modelling and chart building.   
• Strong written and verbal communication, ability to create compelling PowerPoint presentations to enable decision making, storytelling, and education.   
• A foundation and working knowledge of the following environmental sustainability reporting frameworks, including NGERs, ASRS, IFRS / TCFD.  
• A strong foundation of risk management processes and methodology with experience related to environmental risk management or similar, preparing and reviewing environmental management plans, standards and associated risk registers.  
• A ‘growth mindset’; openness to absorb and act on feedback, to work collaboratively and iteratively.
• Comfortable adapting to changing circumstances, dealing with ambiguity, and making positive use of the opportunities presented. Takes initiative to get things done.
• Drive and impact-orientation – proven ability to prioritise to solve, set a high ambition level and persist until goals have been reached.
• Experience or exposure to Climate Risk Assessments and working with the Team to develop climate related targets is desirable.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our Television Finance team at Nine. Reporting to the Finance Manager – Local Productions, you will be pivotal in ensuring the financial health of your designated programs and will play a key role in enhancing our finance and business partnership across the programming space.  Local Productions include Nine’s internally produced programs (including The Block, Travel Guides) and external programs (including MAFS, Lego Masters).

You will:

• Undertake monthly reviews of departmental and program expenses, and analyse variances against the budget and forecast for both P&L departments and WIP projects

• Develop precise annual departmental and program budgets, covering all essential costs including salaries, production costs and internal resources

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, including program and property WIP accounts

• Prepare and present monthly departmental management accounts and program cost reporting to department heads and key users of financial information

• Undertake monthly expenditure forecasts, for both P&L departments and WIP projects

• Provide explanation of variances to budget, including headcount analysis

• Undertake weekly and monthly cash flow reporting and coordination with Accounts Payable

• Obtain expenditure approval, including petty cash and debit card reconciliations and journals

• Business partner with Production Staff to support with program budgets, reporting, talent payments and analysis

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for negotiating competitive rates and securing mutually beneficial agreements that align with our company objectives. Your primary focus will be to attract and secure new business, while increasing core activities across the marketplace in Asia and the Pacific. You will leverage your B2B expertise to contact and convert leads, generating new business through prospecting and solution selling. Additionally, you will establish pricing and close deals that maintain strong gross margins. Expect to spend half your time traveling within the South Pacific and Asia, building and maintaining valuable relationships with customers.

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth within various business units.
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company goals.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations to potential clients.
• Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends and identify new opportunities.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Establish competitive pricing strategies and close deals with good gross margins.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

The Position: The Project Manager will report directly to the APAC Head Project Manager and will be based in Melbourne, Australia. 

The Project Manager will be responsible of :

• Managing customer projects in close collaboration with the regional sales teams (APAC) in order to present VusionGroup solutions and define and gather customer requirements,

• Building, leading and uniting teams around pre-sales projects to prepare for deployment of a major account or independent customer projects,
• Monitoring projects using tools shared with other project managers,
• Ensuring deadlines are met and costs controlled,
• Acting as the single point of contact for customers (internal and external) for all operational issues (technical, integration and installation).
