We seek a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as Management Accountant. This role is at the heart of our organisation, where you will not only excel in managing client relationships but also take an active role in shaping their success. You will be a key driver in our clients' operations, bringing a CFO-like mindset to the table to ensure their financial health and sustainability. You will be vital in delivering decision-makers with accurate information that empowers them to make strategic choices.
The Role
In this full-time, permanent position you will prepare financial reports, budgets, forecasts, financial statements and provide insightful analysis of business performance to our clients. You will lead engagements and be wholly responsible for delivering on a variety of financial projects.
You’ll need to manage workflow, client relationships, technical challenges and contribute ideas and opinions to any problems/situations that may arise. Always ensuring that the information we provide to our clients is useful and makes an impact.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be organised, systematic, thorough, accurate and disciplined. It is expected that you will possess good skills at navigating various organisations, forging relationships, and managing through influence and collaboration.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and CA/CPA qualified
• Minimum 8 years post qualified experience
• Ideally Big 4 trained with a background in external or internal audit
• Exposure to operational finance and forensic accounting strongly preferred
• Experience working internationally
• Progressive track record and relevant exposure at a multinational corporation
• Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence key stakeholders
• Strong financial analysis and modelling skills
• Proactive approach to delivering additional value and profitability
• Totally fluent with Excel, Powerpoint and Xero
• Exceptional business acumen and commercial aptitude
• Ability to remain adaptable and agile with changing requirements
• Previous management experience
• Attention to detail & take ownership of your work
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines
