About the role:
As the Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for getting the business ready for successful migration by conducting the process mapping, data mapping, data analysis, gathering business requirements and engaging with different stakeholders. You will be engage with an impressive range of senior stakeholders in an agile delivery environment.
The business analyst will be responsible for working between business operational stakeholders and technical systems administrators to ensure that product is available, scalable, and ready for business implementation at the defined project sites.
The Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring that true business needs are clearly identified and stated. This includes all requirements needed to deliver and maintain the solution such as required performance, tools and reporting.
The successful Business Analyst will have the ability to manage requirements to ensure optimum outcomes.

Responsibilities:
• Create and/or document the Scoping Documents, Requirements (BRS/User Stories as required by the project, and as input into the Solution design.
• Documenting clear functional and non-functional requirements and processes, such as business, performance, operational, system, reporting, scalability, and/or usability requirements.
• The As-Is diagram depicts the organization's current process, culture, and capabilities. The To-Be diagram depicts the future state of the organisation, including its processes, culture, and capabilities.
• Strong understanding and use of modern digital frameworks and their methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, lean, design thinking, human-centred design, multivariate testing, process mapping, flow charting, continuous improvement, test automation and others
• Work autonomously to align business unit processes with enterprise business processes, taking into account legal, regulatory, and corporate stipulations, and evaluate associated risks using both technical and business language.
• Proven track record in communicating requirements both verbally and through user stories, with logical and clear acceptance criteria, that are easily understood by developers, testers and stakeholders
• Able to work cross-functionally and align business unit processes to enterprise business processes
• Comfortable facilitating workshops, presenting at showcases, leading customer journey walkthroughs and quality reviews with stakeholders of varying seniority
• Manage the scope of the requirements documentation and ensure that change management procedures are followed.
• Create a traceability matrix to ensure that requirements are managed throughout the project/program's lifecycle.
• Promote process improvement by documenting areas for improvement, initiating discussions, and/or ensuring that the proposed solution addresses such areas.
• Demonstrating a passion for agile ways of working.
• Prior experience with, and strong comfort using, collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence to document and manage stories and other documentation
• Self-motivated, ability to work autonomously and a team player
• Bachelor's degree in System analysis, Information Technology
• Familiarity with airline reservation systems, such as Amadeus, Sabre, or other Global Distribution Systems (GDS), is highly desirable
