We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our Acquiring team
The Acquiring team @ Cuscal is responsible for building seamless payment facilitation experiences for our clients. Our advanced payment processing platform ensures seamless handling of various payment methods, while our reliable infrastructure and technology that integrates with our client’s systems enables businesses to accept payments with ease. Additionally, we take measures to ensure the security of every transaction, allowing our clients to have confidence in every transaction.
Reporting to the Acquiring team Product Owner, the Business Analyst will Undertake critical analyses of current state acquiring solutions and identify/assist with the design of future state processes and solutions. The Business Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the integration of business needs with technology solutions through analysing information, understanding the requirements of stakeholders and vendor partners to define effective solutions.
About the Role:
Work with stakeholders to understand needs, manage conflicts, and validate requirements.
Form and maintain effective relationships with third parties such as Vendors, Outsourced Partners, Business Partners and Clients
Organise and synthesise stakeholder information, apply analysis techniques, and ensure artefacts meet quality standards.
Capture, manage, and communicate requirements, ensuring traceability and alignment with business needs.
Prepare and present business analysis artefacts according to Community of Practice (COP) standards.
Collaborate on cost & time estimation for business analysis tasks and support Go-Live plans and activities.
Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and clients to support project goals and business value
Perform value stream mapping and user story mapping to illustrate end-to-end business processes and identify improvements.
Understand TDD and BDD concepts to support end-to-end quality engineering outcomes through well-defined user stories and artefacts.
About You:
At least 3 years' experience as a Business Analyst in the IT industry within the Banking or Financial Services industry, payments experience highly regarded.
Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business studies or equivalent
Proven ability to translate requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria with supporting artefacts such as technical specifications, sequence diagrams and data mapping that align and support the business outcome.
Demonstrated experience on payment systems (e.g., digital payments, payment orchestration, Open API, AS2805 / ISO8583).
Advanced presentation, communication and visual thinking skills
Proven experience in delivering results to meet customer expectations
Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA), IIBA, CBAP or BABOK qualifications.
