The Senior Business Analyst’s responsibilities include:

• Gathering and documenting requirements: Gather, review, analyse, validate, evaluate, and map business systems, processes and user needs and translate them into requirements/user stories with acceptance criteria
• Managing stakeholders: Engage, inform and negotiate with stakeholders to elicit and validate requirements and prioritise them
• Analysing and modelling: Analyse documents, programs, logic, process flows and specifications.  Model the requirements using a range of techniques such as process mapping, story mapping, user stories and acceptance criteria, business rules
• Managing the requirements lifecycle: Ensure that requirements/user stories are prioritised based on their value, complexity, and feasibility, ensuring that the most critical items are delivered first
• Team communication and collaboration: Work closely with Engineers, Testers, Change Managers Third Party members within the product/platform/project team to ensure everyone understands business requirements to be able to develop a fit-for-purpose solution
• Risk and issue management: Identify risks and issues and develop effective mitigation/management strategies according to Rest’s risk framework, and communicate risk assessments and plans to the necessary stakeholders.
• Business domain knowledge in superannuation or financial services
• Proven transformation experience in the Super Insurance Claims space essential
• Ability to understand business functionality, business complexity and interdependencies
• Proven experience in establishing requirements and specifications for system integration (incl. via API) and single sign-on
• Proven experience in performing data analysis
• Ability to develop compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations
• Highly developed strategic, analytical, problem solving, issues management and evaluation skills to deliver innovative solutions
• Understanding of modelling techniques, such as business process models and notation (BPMN), data flow diagrams and unified modelling language (UML®), SIPOC and value stream analysis etc Demonstrated experience in writing user stories and acceptance criteria
• Excellent communication, facilitation, consultation, negotiation and reporting/presentation skills, including the ability to influence people at all levels, and foster and maintain collaborative working relationships both within and outside the organisation
• Ability to quickly troubleshoot problems that may arise in work products
• Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads.

The Opportunity

Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a Mechanical Fitter in our Plate Mill team based in Port Kembla. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

In this hands-on position, you will ensure that equipment is maintained to the highest standards to meet our objectives for safety, quality, and reliability. You will apply your mechanical fitting skills and experience to complete both complex and routine maintenance tasks, with a focus on improving our equipment performance and reliability by understanding plant and equipment condition and then implementing corrective actions to restore as required.

What Will You Do?

You will apply your technical expertise to ensure that all mechanical equipment is maintained, as well as assisting with other Plate Mill department tasks. You will:

• isolate equipment and perform preventative and corrective maintenance   
• inspect production and quality critical equipment and fault find
• resolve issues and fix any non-conformances 
• seek ways to continuously improve our maintenance practices and strategies

You will be motivated and have a strong technical background with the ability to work effectively and flexibly in a team environment. You will also have:

• mechanical trade qualifications
• experience within a maintenance function
• experience working both independently and as part of a manufacturing team

As our casual Customer Service Agent, you will provide professional and efficient first points of contact for our customers and visitors within our facilities.  

Being a member of our Customer Service team, you’ll ensure a great experience in all contacts, both reactive and proactive, to achieve the best service outcomes for customers. In addition to this you’ll act as concierge for your facility; this entails coordinating the logistics and accurate documentation of deliveries.

To be successful in this role you’ll have: 

Customer Focus 

• Greet all visitors to facility in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. 
• Work with internal teams around the country to deliver a seamless customer experience. 
• Provide accurate advice and guidance on customer service requests and incidents. 

Concierge 

• Take telephone calls to facility from both internal and external customers. 
• Assist with coordination of customer and company events and activities at facility. 
• Conduct site inductions with visitors, in coordination with Facilities team, and scan induction paperwork. 
• Conduct audits of critical facility stock and replenish levels as required on: 

Support 

• Provide prompt and friendly communication to customers in person, via telephone, email, and ticketing system. 
• Action internal and external customer requests via all the internal request systems; email, via phone or face to face.  
• Provide first level resolution where possible or escalate requests and incident to the appropriate resolver group.

• Keep an updated Product Knowledge master manual for the Sales and Marketing department.
• When possible, depending on workload, assist the Revenue Manager in the production of proposals, letter typing, mail-outs and outgoing communication material.
• To assist the Revenue Manager with specified projects relating to internal/external promotions.
• Assist in handling all incoming telephone calls and will follow through using own initiative.
• Assist in the creation & distribution of materials when required e.g. hotel brochures, sales kits for external promotions.
• Audit and update all content for hotel’s digital footprint – including microsite, AH.com, and third party sites.
• Conduct digital leaver gap analysis and provide recommendations to close gaps
• Assist Revenue Manager and Distribution with developing EDM strategy and calendar for 12 months.
• Create a digital exposure checklist to use for special events to ensure maximum exposure.
• Social Media management
• Assist Revenue Manager and Distribution with digital marketing, covering direct and non-direct websites, social media, EDM, suggested influencers and digital signage.
