As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping the success of McDonald's.

 

What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?

• Managing key categories within our Food and Beverage portfolios, staying ahead of industry trends, and collaborating with Product Development and Quality Assurance to deliver top-quality ingredients;
• Establishing and nurturing strong relationships between McDonald's and our suppliers, negotiating for the best value solutions, and ensuring a seamless collaboration for assured supply, quality, value, innovation, and people;
• Developing and implementing category plans in alignment with suppliers and the QA team, engaging in joint strategic plans, and conducting formal supplier reviews to enhance our Supply Chain efficiency.
• Contributing to local and global reporting on category metrics, ensuring uninterrupted supply to all restaurants, and playing a pivotal role in forecasting and reporting into restaurant pricing.
• Driving supplier improvement through KPI monitoring, managing forecasting for permanent and promotional ingredients, and reducing system costs through improved forecasting and collaboration.

We are seeking a skilled Manager, Reliability, and Incident Response with experience in modern DevOps best practices, continuous deployment, and AI Ops platform use to join our major incidents team. The Manager, Reliability and Incident Response will be responsible for coordinating and leading the response to major incidents that impact our ecommerce platform. The successful candidate will ensure timely restoration of service, minimize the impact on customers, and prevent future incidents through AI Ops correlation improvement and advancement of service restoration tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the response to major incidents impacting our ecommerce platform
• Coordinate with technical teams across DevOps, AI Ops, distributed computing, and other areas to prevent future incidents through AI Ops correlation improvement and advancement of service restoration tools
• Manage communication with stakeholders, including customers, business partners, and senior management, to provide regular updates and manage expectations
• Develop and implement processes for incident management, including escalation procedures, activation of service restoration processes and tools, validation of AI Ops correlation models
• Continuously review and improve incident management processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
• Collaborate with technical teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to prevent future incidents
• Conduct incident trend analysis to identify recurring issues and proactively address them
• Manage vendor relationships related to incident management tools and services
• Provide guidance and support to incident management team members and other technical staff

Could you be our next Quality Assurance Manager?

As the Quality Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic and tactical programs to manage assigned food categories and suppliers. Your primary goal is to ensure that McDonald's food safety and quality standards are consistently met. This role involves collaboration with internal departments, crisis management, and effective communication.

What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?

• Clearly communicate McDonald’s expectations to suppliers and establish performance criteria
• Monitor and manage designated categories to ensure compliance with McDonald’s food safety, quality, and other standards
• Ensure supplier compliance to the McDonalds Sensory standards for Core & local products
• Collaborate with McDonald’s Strategic Sourcing team to foster strong business relationships with suppliers
• Work closely with global leads to drive Food Safety & Quality improvements in designated categories
• Partner with the Menu team to provide expertise on food safety, regulatory, nutrition, and McDonald's requirements for new products
• Conduct food safety and quality validations for new products in alignment with category requirements
• Validate new equipment suitability for restaurant operations in collaboration with the equipment team
• Establish and maintain food safety systems for products and restaurant food handling in assigned categories
• Facilitate resolution of food quality issues with restaurant operations, suppliers, customer service and other departments
• Provide industry expertise on McDonald’s products, packaging, and processing

Suncamper Motorhomes are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Furniture Finisher to join their team in Thornleigh.



The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

- Studying drawings, work orders and sample parts to determine requirements
- Selecting tools and machine requirements and determining sequence of actions
- Setting up woodworking machines and wood stock
- Running machines to cut, plane, turn, shape and sand work pieces
- Applying stain, lacquer, paint, oil and varnish to furniture, also polishing and waxing finished furniture surfaces
- Fitting frame pieces, handles, hardware, hinges and backing materials as required


Skills and Abilities:

- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified Furniture Finisher
- A Cert III in Furniture Finishing or relevant
- Ability to work in a team environment


Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience
