We are seeking a seasoned Director of Operations - Strategy and New Ventures to join our leadership team at Minor Hotels.

This strategic role will work closely with our Directors of Operations and Cluster General Managers to lead the development and execution of initiatives that drive operational efficiency and excellence across our hotel portfolio. The ideal candidate will be an influential leader, playing a critical role in aligning organisational goals with customer satisfaction and the optimal use of resources, while identifying and implementing high-level solutions to complex organisational challenges.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the development and execution of strategic objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to address key organisational and operational challenges, recommending strategic solutions that enhance long-term business performance.
• Evaluate and redesign systems and structures at a strategic level to increase efficiency and organisational effectiveness.
• Engage with senior management and staff to review current operations, identify inefficiencies, and drive transformative changes that enhance workflow and resource management.
• Provide high-level guidance on organisational structuring, process improvements, and system enhancements to maximise efficiency.
• Oversee the analysis of workflows, organisational structures, and job functions, preparing comprehensive reports and strategic proposals to improve operational performance.
• Develop and present strategic recommendations for procedural revisions, structuring, and optimised resource allocation, focusing on scalability for new properties in the pipeline.
• Partner with Directors of Operations to develop and implement procedures for new property acquisitions, ensuring the seamless integration of operational standards and efficiencies into new properties.
• Take a lead role in driving the implementation of approved recommendations, managing change initiatives, issuing revised procedural guidelines, and ensuring organisational alignment.
• Continuously monitor operational performance, advising senior leadership on deviations from standards and identifying further opportunities for efficiency and growth, particularly in relation to property expansion.

As a Director of Sales, you would play a key role in the contributing to overall success of the business by engaging with new customers across the financial services community and solving their operational issues through offering our market leading solutions.

What does this role entail? 

• Meeting or surpassing sales/revenue targets by acquiring new clients to support the company's overall growth objectives.
• Working across a greenfield territory with the opportunity to work across and contribute to enterprise sales motions on a global scale 
• Managing of the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, and overall pipeline management and development.
• Collaborating with our Demand Generation and Marketing teams on creating and implementing a structured prospecting plan aimed at mid-large companies across various industries. This involves selling software solutions and consulting services to C-level executives, management teams, and end users.
• Establishing effective relationships with key decision makers within customer or prospect organizations to sell them the best products and services to address their needs and enhance cost efficiency.
• Negotiating legal and financial agreements, such as NDA's and MSA's.
• Cultivating and managing strategic relationships with operational and executive staff or prospects to ensure the highest levels of operational efficiency.
• Leveraging existing relationships within partner organizations to establish deep and trusted advisory relationships and generate new deal leads.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the bridge between sales and Professional Services for customer's needs.
• Develop a bid and winning strategy in collaboration with the Business Development Executives that aligns with Datacom’s objectives and complies with customer needs.
• Assemble and lead the pursuit team, liaising with service line leaders for the solutioning aspects, the sales team for commercial and pricing aspects, and the legal team for contractual aspects.
• Provide support during the sales process and help in crafting compelling value propositions.
• Ensure that proposals comply with quality standards and adhere to submission guidelines.
• Manage the submission process and handle post-submission activities, including responding to client queries, participating in bid presentations or interviews with any appropriate and relevant participants, and debriefing on bid outcomes.

The Opportunity:

We, at Flywire, are seeking a Senior Director of Finance to provide broad strategic and operational finance leadership for the APAC region, including Australia, Japan, China, Singapore, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Thailand and others. This individual will be results-oriented with experience leading culturally diverse teams in a high growth environment.

• Operate as a strategic business partner to the executive team.
• Assess, oversee and evaluate financial performance of the region with regard to long-term operational goals, budgets, forecasts, reporting and auditing.
• Oversee APAC finance and accounting operations, including Flymates in the region and resources supporting the APAC region from our shared service center.
• Lead APAC-based strategic initiatives, including new country expansion, finance and tax diligence, post-acquisition integration activities, etc.
• Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures in support of Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance, with emphasis on APAC operations and shared services.
• Support our Global / Central FP&A team on APAC financial planning and analysis activities, including forecasting and budgeting.
• Analysis of business performance, including creating insight into customer behavior and site performance, business and project performance, pricing opportunities, etc.
• Updating key financial models and creating new financial models from scratch – including but not limited to customer cohort models, pricing models, deal models, etc.
• Coordinate the overall planning process (in line with planning guideline / instructions) for the Region and its subsidiaries incl. required alignment between Region and Verticals.
• Oversee the financial close process for the APAC region and partner with FP&A on management reporting and profit improvement initiatives.
• Partner with other APAC leaders on key strategic and business initiatives
• Ensure regional compliance with local laws and regulations, including support for regulated entity status, statutory financial reporting, tax compliance and audits.
