The Team

Lyka’s Partnerships team is quickly growing and we’re looking for an exceptional Account Manager to join the pack. In this phone/email based position you’ll look after a diverse range of partners looking to educate and empower their clients on the benefits of a real food diet.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain close relationships with our existing Partners, including breeders, vets, dog trainers, among many others
• Identify opportunities where Lyka could help our partners grow their businesses and revenue
• Establish protocols and processes for Partnership engagement to ensure Lyka’s interactions and communications are aligned with our brand, mission and business objectives
• Create helpful and persuasive marketing materials to increase product adoption and educate on the benefits of Lyka and best practices for promotion
• Act as a key point of contact for partner escalations and resolving them in a timely manner
• Performance analysis and reporting on trends to track progress, as well as areas for improvement
• Work cross-functionally and collaboratively with internal teams to ensure objectives are delivered
• Live and work in accordance with Lyka’s values and principles at the workplace

What you'll bring:

• 2+ years’ experience in either Account Management or Inside Sales, preferably within a high-growth B2B start-up (eg SaaS or FinTech)
• Exceptional communication and relationship building skills (internal/external) with a passion for building long-term relationships whilst achieving aggressive KPIs and targets
• You would describe yourself as a self-starter/success oriented
• You understand how to build new business, upsell and drive revenue because you have a track record of doing so
• An analytical and inquiring mind with the ability to communicate data into relevant insights, and the ability to consolidate complicated problems into actionable solutions
• You’re comfortable with ambiguity and happy to adapt to new situations!
• You have a love for animals and want to join us in striving for progression in pet wellness

Some ‘nice to have’s:

• Experience working within a high-growth sales team environment
• Experience with a CRM, preferably HubSpot
• Previous experience with a GTM launch for a new product

The Team

At Lyka, we're on a mission to transform the pet wellness industry, and we're seeking a commercially savvy Lead Product Manager to join our team. As part of our Retention squad, you'll play a crucial role in mapping the customer journey for all existing Lyka users. Your focus will be on understanding every touchpoint, identifying challenges, and devising actionable strategies to minimise churn and boost revenue.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to redefine and elevate our product strategies, ensuring that we adhere to the highest standards of product management excellence. Collaboration will be key, as you work closely with our customer experience, product, service design, and engineering teams to develop and execute growth initiatives.

What You'll Do:

Craft a winning product strategy that aligned with our company's growth and revenue targets, keeping customer needs at the forefront.

Innovate the digital customer journey by identify and prioritise opportunities to enhance the digital customer journey through thorough research, data analysis, and user experiments.

Drive agile product development processes, from conceptualisation to launch, focusing on continuous improvement and efficient delivery.

Collaborate with our data team to develop real-time reports and statistical models, leveraging data insights to drive product initiatives.

Track key performance metrics to measure product success and ensure visibility across the organisation, especially in terms of retention metrics.

Work closely with stakeholders across various departments to align product initiatives with business objectives and strategies.

Regularly present findings and growth recommendations to executive leadership, influencing strategic decisions.

Demonstrated experience in product leadership within a high-growth startup, with a track record of improving digital experiences and conversion rates.

Direct experience working on retention initiatives within software products.

Proficiency in analytical tooling and tag management software, with experience in running experiments and split tests.

Solid understanding of agile development approaches and design principles, with experience collaborating with technical teams.

Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively to maximise short-term and long-term value.

Experience coaching, mentoring, and growing junior product managers, with a structured approach to raising product management capabilities.

Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ever-changing business environment.

The Team

We're on a mission to double the lifespan of our pets, and we need you to help discover the way as the Associate Product Manager - Research in our Research and Development Team. 

Who is this for? Are you an adept strategist with a background in top-tier management consultancy or high growth start-up, looking to work in the business of science? If your expertise is complemented by a strong scientific foundation, potentially highlighted by a PhD, and you're driven to apply your skills within the pet wellness industry, this pivotal role is designed for you.  

As an Associate Product Manager - Research at Lyka, you will lead the charge in bridging cutting-edge science with strategic business initiatives to propel pet health and nutrition forward. Your role will be instrumental in navigating our mission towards doubling pets' lifespans through innovative nutritional solutions and sustainable practices. 

What you will do: 

Research strategy

Aid in developing our research strategy and pipeline to meet business goals, centring on our key thematic priorities: 

1. Safety & benefits demonstration: Demonstrating the safety and efficacy of our products  
2. Improving the general health and happiness of puppers 
3. Improving our products to deliver greater benefits to pets 
4. Developing new products and/or services based on research breakthroughs 

• Create research proposals: Craft proposals grounded in solid statistical and scientific principles in line with our business goals. This includes cost modelling and spearheading the studies' execution, while seamlessly collaborating with external stakeholders such as universities, industrial partners, and customers. 
• Manage active studies: Supervise active research projects, ensuring they progress effectively and align with our investigative objectives. 
• Analytical excellence: Engage in the analysis and synthesis of research results, transforming raw data into actionable insights and coherent findings. 
• Scholarly support: Assist in drafting papers that elucidate research outcomes and white papers that reinforce our perspectives and beliefs. 
• Grant applications: Identify, apply for, and win grants to support our research initiatives. 
• Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with key stakeholders: Dr. Matt, our co-founding vet to ensure that research initiatives align with product development; Data & Analytics to leverage insights and analyse studies; Customer Care for participant recruitment; and Marketing and Partnerships to showcase studies insight which demonstrate Lyka's value. 
• Research synthesis: Keep a keen eye on the latest advancements and studies outside of Lyka. Distil and integrate these findings into tangible insights, aiding in product development and work to underscore the value of a whole food diet in canine health and nutrition.

Who you are: 

• Experienced: You have 2-3 years experience in a top-tier management consultancy, high growth start-up or similar. 
• Science Background: With an educational foundation in science, you have a keen understanding of the scientific method and its application in a business context. 
• Project management: Skilled in research management, adept at overseeing and prioritizing multiple studies concurrently. 
• Writing expertise: Possess outstanding written communication skills, ensuring clarity, precision, and effectiveness in conveying complex ideas and findings.

An opportunity is available within an SGS client's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Team for a skilled safety professional who can work independently. This position involves working at the Client's offices on a full time permanent basis.  

You will have the opportunity to work independently, help develop and implement a local health and safety program and have a big impact directly on the employees you support. 

Here are some key responsibilities for you in this role:

• Prioritize work based on team objectives.
• Complete projects with little need for oversight.
• Establish and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and act on improvement opportunities for the program.
• Facilitate program communications and provide regular status reports to your manager and other stakeholders.

Some other aspects of the role:

• Standard business hours, onsite at SGS's client site.
• You will be the primary OHS support for the SGS client's office.
• The team has weekly meetings to prioritize what will be done for the week. 
• Work comes from various sources:  new or updated activities from SGS's client work teams, injury investigations, maintaining OHS tools and systems.
• You will have the opportunity to develop working relationships with many SGS's client internal customer teams and various stakeholders in Facilities, HR, and Security.  This may mean participating in meetings or having informal small group or 1-on-1 discussions to understand requirements and deliver required safety assessment.
