The work will be a mix of surgery and consultations. Special interests are encouraged and fostered. One of our vets has a special interest in surgery. Patients range from dogs and cats to rabbits and birds.

This job would be perfect for a motivated and skilled veterinarian wanting to work as part of a team. We would love to welcome a new veterinarian who enjoys all aspects of General Practice. However, if you have a preference for surgery or consulting we can tailor the role to suit. 

Full time hours are available. If you are looking for a part time role this can be accommodated as well.

• Experienced Qualified Veterinarian: You hold a BVSc or equivalent degree and are licensed to practice in QLD. A love for consulting and medical cases would be ideal to mesh with our current veterinarian’s skill sets.

Our Kippa-Ring hospital boasts four consult rooms, digital x-ray including dental x-ray, ultrasound, full in-house laboratory, surgical suite and smart flow.

Patients and staff appreciate our large waiting room, yard to exercise dogs, radiology room, isolation ward, dental and wet prep benches, pharmacy and our lunch room with outside access.

Feline patients appreciate their own segregated waiting area and dedicated consult room.

Northlakes is also fully equipped and has the added bonus of being across the road from specialists and an emergency hospital.

This role offers flexibility in the hours to be worked with full or part time hours considered. There is also scope for this to be a consult only position, if preferred.
