Reporting to Director of Finance, you will be a highly organised Purchasing Manager with a drive for overseeing all procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods for our organisation.

We are on the lookout for a Technical Delivery Lead. Our technical delivery leads work with our product, project and UI/UX teams to design and deliver technical solutions for our clients. Coming from a software engineering background, the technical delivery leads are stepping up into project co-ordination and architecture from hands-on implementation roles and engineering management. 

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in technical solutions/architecture, particularly in delivering customer-facing digital products while collaborating with UI/UX, product, and technical teams.

A background in consulting is ideal, demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively with clients and stakeholders to design and implement solutions across various technologies is essential. Proficiency in cloud-native backend development using Azure and AWS, coupled with a strong understanding of digital channels (mobile, web, and portals), is required.

Key Responsibilities

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with senior business leaders, product managers, designers, and business analysts to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for stakeholders, managing discussions and decision-making to ensure expectations are met.

Architecture & Discovery

• Lead the discovery and design of greenfield solutions, evaluating technologies, frameworks, and architectures in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Develop solution designs that address business needs, prioritising scalability, performance, and security.
• Guide technical teams in adopting best practices in architecture and development to align with organisational standards and technology strategies.
• Coordinate with product, UI/UX, and technical implementation teams to ensure seamless platform design and delivery.

Technical Documentation

• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, integration architecture, and API specifications.
• Ensure documentation is clear, detailed, and accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Review and refine technical documentation as part of governance processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and policies.

Technology Leadership

• Design and implement solutions leveraging Azure and AWS backend services, ensuring optimal use of cloud resources for reliability and scalability.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to influence technical decisions and innovations.

As our Lead Electrical Engineer you’ll lead our efforts across global data centre projects, ensuring all phases—from planning through to operation—are executed to industry-leading standards. Collaborate closely with various teams including Engineering, Project Management, Facilities Management, and Sales/Marketing to deliver new and expansion projects efficiently and effectively. In addition to this you’ll manage all aspects of electrical design from initial business cases and feasibility studies to long-term facilities management and expansions.  

Key areas of focus will include: 

• Design Leadership: Chair electrical design workshops, ensuring optimal solutions are explored and standards met. Lead the review and improvement of existing design standards and present actionable recommendations.  
• Technical Oversight: Conduct key shop drawing reviews, load flow and discrimination studies, and earthing designs. Oversee construction site inspections, commissioning processes, and integrated systems testing.  
• Project Management Assistance: development of feasibility studies, due diligence reports, and project scopes. Manage capital cost estimations, ROI analysis, and risk assessments.  
• Facility Management: Support long-term facilities management with specialist knowledge in maintenance operations procedures (MOPs) and change advisory boards (CABs).
