Reporting to Director of Finance, you will be a highly organised Purchasing Manager with a drive for overseeing all procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods for our organisation.
Duties include but are not limited to;
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and budget constraints
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms to optimize cost savings
- Analyse pricing data and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions
- Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams with the Precinct to understand and fulfill departmental needs efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and inventory levels
- Implement and manage inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and minimize waste
- Generate comprehensive reports on procurement activities, expenditures, and supplier performance
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management
