This position is a 12 month fixed-term parental leave cover and is perfect for a marketing professional who can imagine themselves delving into their next opportunity to learn and grow, with potential for a future permanent position for the right candidate.

Marketing is crucial to the commercial outcomes of the hotel, and has a direct impact on its operations, so you can expect to grow into a well rounded business influencer and an architect of exceptional experiences. You will be supported and lead by a team of hospitality industry experts both in the hotel, and as part of the greater Sofitel network.

• Ensure content across all third-party websites is accurate and promotions are updated.
• Design and distribute internal and external marketing collateral for food and beverage, leisure, conferencing and corporate market segments.
• Assist with the organisation and execution of hotel events.
• Manage stock orders for our in-house patisserie, ChouChou.
• Manage online ordering and booking platforms by updating descriptions and images, developing marketing emails, exporting and reporting, ensuring policy compliance, and creating offers.

Your Career

As a Regional Account Manager, you will focus on Critical Infrastructure and Public Sector Accounts, you will be responsible for generating new opportunities in our growing territory. You are the primary point of contact for these accounts and are accountable for delivering at above-quota sales performance in your region. You are motivated by a hunger to solve critically difficult challenges that face our clients. You develop trusted relationships at a high, executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the partnership. This means that you have a concrete understanding of our product suites, and are able to help identify areas that can be resolved by Palo Alto Networks solutions.

You will lead to identifying and signing appropriate channel partners as well as training them on our solutions. Additionally, your credibility will guide your customers in their search to transition to a more secure online environment. Your Impact

• You will specifically be responsible for acquiring and managing Critical Infrastructure and Public Sector accounts in Queensland

• Employing world-class account management skills to identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities within the target accounts

We will count on you to:

• Cultivate and qualify prospect relationships including key contacts and financial data

• Diligently manage a prospect pipeline, maintain regular communications with all prospects and efficiently move opportunities through the sales funnel

• Full use of the Marsh Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to manage sales funnel and provide real time overview of pipeline and performance

• Lead the development and delivery of proposals and presentations to prospects in order to articulate our understanding of specific risk issues and how our solutions and services can address specific issues

• Negotiate terms and conditions of engagement with prospects in compliance with the Marsh operating model

• Comply fully with the Company's Errors and Omissions avoidance procedures, Australian ASFL requirements and internal policies

We would like you to have:

• Tier 1 FSRA Compliance and ANZIIF Associate membership

• Tertiary Qualifications: Qualified Practising Insurance Broker by the National Insurance Brokers Association of Australia, Degree in Insurance or related field, or Diploma Financial Services

• Strong business acumen including a well-rounded knowledge of general business functions including finance, management and risk

• Excellent working relationships with insurers and underwriting partners

• Exceptional communication, influencing/selling, problem solving and negotiation skills

• Strong interpersonal skills and organisational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking and consistently meeting deadlines.
