The Role

This is an exciting senior role within our DBM Atlas team, focused on serving our insurance clients. You will be integral in driving the team forward, being focused on exceeding client expectations in all forms of delivery, identifying and implementing research and operational best practice and mentoring more junior members of the team. Insurance is a key growth category for RFI and you will be instrumental in ensuring the business capitalizes on the opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the relationship with various insurance clients and delivering outstanding customer service to those clients; including timely delivery of all reports, client queries and ad-hoc analysis requests ensuring they are provided to clients on time/in accordance with SLAs, to the expected standard and without error
• Maintaining deep understanding of the client’s strategic priorities, NPS performance and drivers
• Advancing the depth and actionability of insight provided to clients
• Producing periodic deep-dive reports and presentations for key clients end-to-end; including client briefing & consultation, solution scoping, analysis planning, data production, insight and report generation.
• Receiving briefings for ad hoc deliverables and communicating requirements and expectations to the Client Director/Senior Director
• Owning the execution of low-medium complexity adhoc analysis requests for insurance clients
• Providing support to Client Director on higher complexity adhoc analysis requests
• Supporting internal teams in the enhancement of production, QA processes and output including through automated production techniques
• Monitoring use of adhoc hours including determining hours required to complete tasks, communication and agreement of hours and adherence to agreed hours during production process
• Contributing to the identification of opportunities to improve the way clients are serviced and to enhance client value
• Liaising with clients on prioritization of tasks based on team capacity and workload
• Liaising with external providers associated with client deliverables
• Identifying and implementing innovative research approaches and methodologies
• Cascading subject matter expertise through the account team and broader business
• Leading training sessions and implementing ongoing internal training programs and knowledge sharing
• Assisting in putting together SOWs, sales pitches etc. in collaboration with Sales and Client Success teams

Your Role  

You will be responsible for the insertion of our solution portfolio and growth of our business by winning transformational business opportunities across communication service provider customers in our ANZ region with particular focus on our most strategic tier 1 customers in the territory. You will establish and nurture key business relationships at all levels and particularly with C-suite stakeholders and carry a sales target which will be retired through your personal sales success and ability to win deals. You will work closely with fulfilment partners where necessary and consult with our mainstream Ciena account team but drive your own sales and engagement strategy to ensure the integrity of the Blue Planet brand is maintained and recognized as a value-based brand to deliver vendor neutral, multi-domain and multi-layer automated service operations to the telco service provider. Your Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales targets and grow Blue Planet’s solution footprint in customer organizations

Minimum Qualifications

About the Role You will lead the organisational health and safety management system, safety culture and consultation. You will provide advice and technical support for health and safety matters across the diverse work areas at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. This will include

Participating in the organisation's continuous improvement program
Leading safety risk management activities
Leading incident investigations, including report and recommendations to prevent recurrence, for serious incidents
Mentoring and coaching WHS team members, managers and HSRs

Classifications for this position will range from HS4 - HS29 ($83,657 - $90,376 per annum) plus over award based on experience. Your Contribution

Tertiary qualification in Health & Safety or related field
Demonstrated understanding and comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, codes and standards
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects at the one time
High level report writing skills
Ability and flexibility to work with a range of stakeholders and teams
Current National criminal history check, or willing to obtain

About the Job

The responsibility of this role is to support the Senior Manager, Actuarial Services and General Manager, Actuarial Services in carrying out actuarial valuations, business planning, advice and insights to drive intelligent, commercial outcomes for Rest’s Insurance Group.  Reporting to the Senior Manager or General Manager, Actuarial Services this role will support the provision of strategic analytical advice and support relating to negotiations and decision making in the group insurance pricing under the Premium Adjustment Model (i.e. profit-sharing group insurance), Insurance Reserve monitoring and forecasting.

• Overall responsibility for supporting financial management of the insurance premium costs and insurance reserving. You will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data related to insurance premiums and reserves, as well as identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Supporting the Premium Adjustment Model process. Prepare independent loss ratio analysis, validate insurer’s loss ratio assumptions, methodology, negotiate with insurer on forward adjustments for best estimate pricing and review annual APA calculations on an annual basis.
• Quarterly loss ratio reporting. The results are presented at Product Impact Forum (PIF) to Rest senior leaders.
• Monitoring insurance reserving including forecasting balances based on prevailing claims and premium experience. The results are presented at Product Impact Forum (PIF) to Rest senior leaders.
• Monitoring and reviewing group insurance pricing assumptions, actual claims expense and premiums
• Data analytics using database including R and/or SQL
• Developing trend analysis for claims expenses and premium based on prior experience
• Developing appropriate monitoring and reporting framework for financial aspects of groups insurance expense
• Assisting with members best financial interest analysis for insurance expenditure
• Support decision making on insurance premium pricing and terms with Groups external insurer including for corporate tenders
• Assess and review exposure under the Premium Adjustment Model adopted by the Group. As a responsible and accountable member of the team, your role would involve not only conducting assessments and reviews under the Premium Adjustment Model, but also providing recommendations for any necessary adjustments to be made based on your findings. You would be expected to communicate these recommendations clearly to relevant stakeholders, and work collaboratively with others to ensure that any necessary actions are taken in a timely and effective manner. Ultimately, the outcome of your assessment and review would have a significant impact on the overall financial performance of the Group,
