The Finance Analyst role will help support the Pinnacle International & Wholesale Team, a growing part of the overall Pinnacle business responsible for domestic wholesale and international external sales.

This role will report to the Finance Manager (Pinnacle International and Wholesale), and partner with the Head of International and Wholesale.

A dynamic role within a growth area of business covering commercial partnering, financial reporting and process improvement, requiring close teamwork with sales, operations and other stakeholders.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• Support and partner the Head of International and Wholesale and supporting leadership team in the development of the International and Wholesale plan.
• Drive and support the annual operating budget with the team across International and Wholesale.
• Support a “no-surprises” forecasting process across the International and Wholesale portfolio  including the identification of risks and opportunities.
• Support the International and Wholesale team on commercial matters as and when necessary (e.g. product pricing, volume, rate & mix analysis etc). 
• Support the assessment of portfolio performance through diagnostics on performance vs targets.
• oversee the preparation of Balance Sheet reconciliations and responsibility for clearing of reconciliation items, preparation of journals to ensure all month end transactions are posted into the general ledger. 
• Matrix-style partnership required in order to support the team with other Pinnacle finance team members given the E2E view of International and Wholesale cuts across wine making (Vinpac) and Paragon.
• Working closely with Pinnacle and Endeavour retail finance teams to simplify business processes, enhance insight.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst to join our Hotel Pricing Optimisation Squad within our Advanced Analytics tribe. This is a pivotal role which will help drive key initiatives aimed at improving guest experience and value perception through strategic pricing optimisation. The role will combine a strong customer focus with the latest techniques & methodology, to contribute meaningfully to our Advanced Analytics vision of “An Endeavour where data and AI fuel people across the group to create our more sociable future”.

The ideal candidate will be fascinated by how systems and services influence guest value in front of house interactions, this may be informed by retail, commercial, hospitality or other relevant industry experience in Australia. This role will involve collaboration with the product manager, internal SMEs, and specialist data roles, within the squad, and across other squads in Advanced Analytics to ensure the outcomes delivered are desirable, feasible and viable.  The Business Analyst will also assist in managing stakeholder relationships with our key customers in ALH Hotels (part of the Endeavour Group). 

Your skills in business analytics—particularly in collaboration, facilitation, and documentation—will make you a central “go-to” figure between our business and development teams. As you will be working within a squad, you will establish and drive best practices for business analysis as applicable to the squad goals, while maintaining open communication with other squad members.

• Documentation - Responsible for selecting the appropriate level and location for documentation e.g. wiki, Google Slides, Jira, to suit the communication needs of the audience

• Creating and refining epics and stories aligned to customer and business problems, including user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria

• Adding to stories in the backlog as knowledge and detail expand and evolves
