As a Professional Highways / Civil Engineer in the Sydney Highways Team, you will be responsible for contributing to the design and development of transport infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with senior engineers and project managers to deliver technical solutions that meet client requirements and design standards.

Your role will involve co-ordinating the evolution of the design, preparing technical reports, and ensuring project deliverables are met within specified timeframes.

What Will a Day in This Role Look Like:

• Technical Design: Engage throughout all stages of the project, including optioneering, strategic planning, conceptual design, detailed design, and construction support. Undertake highways/civil design such as geometric layout, barriers, signage, and line markings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. . A basic understanding of other engineering disciplines such as pavement design, drainage systems, structures and utility coordination is also beneficial.
• Design Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure on time project execution. Coordinate design documentation and drawings with other engineering and drafting disciplines. Conduct quality reviews of design documentation and deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Site Visits: On occasion you may be asked to conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress, review technical issues, and ensure construction activities align with design specifications.

What will a day in this role look like:

• Collaborate with industry leaders and technical specialists whilst working as part of a dynamic and consultative team on major mining projects both across Australia and internationally.

As a ‘Looper’ at TOMRA, you will be working amongst a team of people, who are very passionate about doing good for the environment and our community. By carrying out preventative maintenance and cleaning of our reverse vending machine installations (Kiosks), our Field Site Attendants play a pivotal part in delivering convenience and satisfaction to our customers. As a Field Site Attendant, you will frequently travel between sites, therefore having a valid driver’s license and being confident with driving a vehicle is a must!
What you’ll be doing:
The duties that you will perform as a Field Site Attendant include;
-Driving between all reverse vending machine sites within assigned area
-Providing exceptional customer service to our partners (including shopping centre staff) and occasionally to members of the public
-Ensuring the reverse vending machines and sites are well presented by cleaning the machines and ensuring that debris are not preventing smooth operation
-Removing customer litter from kiosk sites and disposing at the nearest TOMRA recycling centre
-Reporting on general maintenance and site appearance including but not limited to, site presentation and cleanliness, potential safety hazards and signs of site vandalism

This position will maintain the TOMRA Kiosk locations throughout the Gold Coast & across the Greater Brisbane regions.
