THE ROLE
We are looking for a strategic-thinking Digital Content Director to join our dynamic team of Thinkers & Makers at Prodigious PLAY.
As a senior leader in the PLAY team, you will be responsible for managing a team of 2 to deliver integrated digital content strategies seamlessly into larger marketing campaigns for some of the most well-known local and global brands.
You will work collaboratively with all partners – particularly the media agencies of the Groupe, clients and direct, to provide innovative and value-based content solutions across a broad range of digital channels - Social, Bvod, Digtial Audio etc. You will act as a platform expert to guide clients and help inform decisions for content, lead the brief response process, and collaborate with different skillsets and capabilities.
This is a highly client/agency-facing role, so we will be looking for solid client servicing experience and presentation skills. You must have proven skills in developing digital content strategies and presenting content solutions to meet brief objectives. You will be responsible for the daily management and ongoing development of your team, and report into the Head of Content.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Implementing content strategies that integrate into broader media and marketing plans and delivering high-quality content from concept to production.
- Team leadership – ongoing development and management of Content Managers & Executives to enhance their thinking and deliver innovative content solutions.
- Drive new business opportunities for PLAY through agency and direct client engagement.
- Knowledge of all aspects of our solutions across Prodigious + PLAY and how we integrate with media and creative to provide holistic and seamless content experiences
The person we’re looking for:
- Ideally 6 - 7 years of agency experience, or experience in a similar role.
- Ideal for a Senior Content Manager looking to step up into a director role, or a Business Manager or Media Manager with strong digital skills looking to pivot into content.
- The new media landscape, and how content plays a pivotal role in delivering business outcomes for brands.
- How to build case studies and communicate the effectiveness and impact of past campaigns to demonstrate capability and drive new business.
- Strong people management skills and effective communication skills.
- Client management and experience working with senior stakeholders.
