The Director of Corporate Communications reports to the Head of the function in the Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific cluster. The role is responsible to develop and execute compelling and strategic communications campaigns, that help our stakeholders (internal and external) to understand the value Visa can bring, and advance delivery of our business goals.

This role:

• Will develop and deliver two-to-three broad corporate communication campaigns over the course of the year – each campaign built around a connected set of moments and with delivery of the associated tactics:
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to conceive and create the outputs that deliver engagement with key audiences
  • Seeking out the stories and opportunities for thought leadership that can make the campaign stand out from the status quo

GHGSat offers greenhouse gas detection, measurement, and monitoring services to industrial and government customers around the world. The company uses its own satellites and aircraft sensors, combined with third-party data, to help industrial emitters better understand, control, and reduce their emissions. 

As GHGSat continues its journey to build the world's leading geospatial atmospheric data platform, we are seeking Account Directors for our satellite derived methane monitoring products. These products help companies across commercial sectors identify and analyze methane gas emissions helping them proactively mitigate and manage the risk of loss of their valuable product. 

As an Account Director at GHGSat, you’ll be spearheading initiatives selling our solutions, along with our vision of helping our customers dramatically reduce the risks and impact of methane gas emissions across key verticals. We’re looking for those who love building new relationships with senior business owners and decision makers (CTOs, CEOs, Heads of Operations and Business Unit owners) about using our monitoring and data solutions and running the overall strategic relationship with these customers (including white space identification, contract negotiations, etc.) 

What you’ll do 

• Prospecting and handling high-value prospects and customers. You will contribute to the fast-growing business, and source new opportunities to provide GHGSat’s solutions to.
• Build robust territory plan to grow existing accounts and breakthrough at greenfield accounts
• Driving opportunities for product use cases around data, analytics, and emissions monitoring.
• Work with and mentor Account Executives and Sales Development Reps on your team, to drive new leads and sales
• You will deliver the technical win and product fit at customer accounts. You will build customer trust in GHGSat and our solutions, which results in customer success in the post-sale. The Account Director is both technical and a skilled relationship builder. They can clearly articulate complex value propositions.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or other relevant background
• 5+ years experience selling solutions to Industry, Oil & Gas, Waste Management, Mining and/or Financial Services

The UP&E Business & Legal Affairs team is seeking an experienced, motivated, and collaborative in-house lawyer to support the Consumer Products business across the Asia Pacific region (APAC).  The role will look after contract needs related to IP consumer product and publishing licensing agreements, retail/marketing campaigns, design asset creation and other services arrangements and provide business & legal affairs support to commercial/category and creative teams across UP&E APAC offices in Sydney, Tokyo & Seoul. You will work closely with cross-functional partners in compliance, tax, IP enforcement, accounting/finance and other business and legal stakeholders located in Universal’s APAC, Los Angeles and London offices as you work across a range of licensing and legal issues.  This role will report to the VP, Business & Legal Affairs based in London.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise and coordinate with category management, marketing, product development, creative, and finance executives at all levels of seniority to identify and resolve business and legal issues (including issues relating to contract interpretation), mitigate risk, and provide ongoing counsel, advice and support.
• Draft, manage and negotiate a high volume of intellectual property license and service agreements associated with the licensing, distribution, promotion and marketing of toys, apparel, books and other consumer goods.
• Management of junior staff, fostering training and development whilst concurringly managing an independent workload.
• Supervise and review contracts and related legal work product generated by the Business & Legal Affairs team, aligning priorities and ensuring deadlines are met.
