The Opportunity

Orrcon Steel is looking for a Account Manager in our  Sales team based in Kewdale. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands. 

In this customer-facing opportunity you will grow and build strong partnering relationships with our customers, now and for the future.  Working closely with customer service, operations and supply chain teams to deliver product and service delivery for our valued customers and achieve growth in revenue, margin, and market share.  Previous steel experience is not essential, but a passion to succeed and drive to deliver exceptional customer service is!

What Will You Do?

Covering a territory across the Perth metropolitan area, you will:

• implement a purposeful call planning cycle and face-to-face client meetings to develop and maintain profitable business with new and existing clients.
• identify new business opportunities with new customers and identify opportunities to grow business with existing customers.
• continue strong customer relations by executing market plans and strategies with consideration to business objectives, individual customer requirements and market conditions.
• work collaboratively with the internal teams to fulfill and exceed customer needs.
• undertake price maintenance activities and database management.

Montu is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will drive growth by acquiring new business while nurturing existing pharmacy partnerships. Your primary focus will be to increase order volume in your territory and ensure exceptional service. (Please note - You will be required to travel 3-4 days on the road for face-to-face appointments).

Primary responsibilities include:

Driving Order Volume Growth: 

• Increase order volume within the designated territory by establishing strong relationships with existing pharmacy partners and achieving monthly targets. 
• Acquire new pharmacy partners to the Leafio platform, converting leads into valuable partnerships. 

Relationship Building:   

• Cultivate and maintain trusting relationships between Montu and pharmacy partners, acting as their dedicated point of contact. 
• Address partner issues promptly to maintain positive relationships and ensure resolutions are achieved.                                                                       

Strategic Initiatives: 

• Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and develop new value-added initiatives that enhance the partnership experience. 
• Engage in strategic planning to improve pharmacy results and drive mutual success. Prepare and deliver regular reports on account progress, goals, and initiatives for internal teams, stakeholders, and potential use in case studies or training sessions. 

Partnership Expansion: 

• Proactively expand existing partner relationships through upselling and cross-selling opportunities. 
• Identify, nurture, and convert new pharmacy partners, leveraging industry knowledge and networks to expand Montu's presence.

You will be responsible for the professional and cost effective running of the Housekeeping department, achieving high standards of cleanliness for guest rooms, public areas and back of house areas within the Novotel and ibis Sydney Olympic park consisting of 327 rooms.
