Atlantic Research Group (ARG), a distinguished Contract Research Organization (CRO) known for our impactful work in oncology, immunology, and neurology clinical trials, is seeking a Freelance Clinical Research Associate (CRA) to support a respiratory-focused clinical trial across multiple sites in Australia. This role involves monitoring three sites in Melbourne, one in Adelaide, and two in Perth, with a total of 35 subjects enrolled.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and coordinate all aspects of the clinical monitoring process, ensuring compliance with GCPs and ARG's global SOPs.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with investigative sites and client company personnel.
• Represent ARG in the medical research community, enhancing our reputation and contributing to high-quality study outcomes.

Project Timeline:

• Start Date: October 1, 2024 (or sooner)
• End Date: Approximately October 30, 2027 (36-month contract)

Qualifications:

• Prior clinical monitoring experience with a focus on respiratory therapeutic areas.
• Experience with oncology clinical trials is a bonus.
• Must have an established business entity to invoice payment.

We require highly experienced Victorian Curriculum teachers to audit existing Education Perfect content in alignment with the new v 2.0 curriculum.

This position will require the successful candidate to carefully examine each EP lesson and align it to the appropriate content descriptor from the new curriculum. The candidate will also rearrange the existing content into a new folder structure that matches the new curriculum, assess the percentage coverage for the content descriptor, recommend any adaptations to existing lessons, and identify any new lessons that may need to be built due to changes to the curriculum. This role does not include the creation of any content.

This work will all be conducted remotely using the suite of Google Applications (Docs and Sheets) and time management software to track completion.

The work is expected to take approximately 20 hours to complete (in total) and must be delivered within 4 weeks of the agreed start date. The successful applicant will be required for a further 2 weeks to apply feedback and address any questions. We are offering $1500 AUD for successful completion of the project.

Requirements of this position include:

• Minimum 5 years of experience teaching Science subject across Years 7-10

You'll oversee updates and reprints of our print product, co-ordinate regular releases of our digital products, and liaise with student testers and teachers, subject matter experts and career profilists to ensure our resources are bullet-proof before they get into the classroom.

How you'll spend your time

This role will vary from day to day. It will always be interesting but might include: 

• Working side-by-side with our ‘dream team’ of writers, teachers, simulation designers, illustrators, animators and editors to make the best science resource in the known universe.
• Rolling out new engineering delights in our libraries to ensure teachers and students always have access to our most up-to-date content and features. 
• Working closely with the Head of Curriculum and Pedagogy to assist in the writing and publishing of teacher resources.
• Supporting our amazing video production team in writing scripts, testing labs and coordinating filming on set. You may even be asked to step in front of the camera from time to time!
• Raving on about the latest and coolest science news with other “science nerds” in our communal kitchen at lunchtime.
• Coordinating and facilitating in-house and on-site student testing sessions for our work-in-progress resources and fostering a great sense of community with one of our main stakeholder groups.

Hours and location

This is a full-time, permanent role with some flexible work hours. We really value collaboration and about three days in the work week are in person in the office but we also really value focus time and this can be done at home or in the office, whatever works for you! To provide you with the best onboarding experience, the first 4-6 weeks of this role will be worked in-person in our Melbourne office. Hours and location

This is a full-time, permanent role with some flexible work hours. We really value collaboration and about three days in the work week are in person in the office but we also really value focus time and this can be done at home or in the office, whatever works for you! During onboarding we want you to get the best experience so the first 4-6 weeks are in person in the office. We're all about what you achieve, not the hours of the day that you achieve it. It's no secret that Aegros is expanding rapidly! An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent full time Manufacturing Science & Technology Engineer responsible for process development, technology transfer, process optimization, and process validation.

Located at Macquarie Park, Sydney and Reporting to the MS&T Leader, you will drive the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes for new and existing processes and products, ensuring robustness, scalability, and efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Research and Development, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Regulatory Affairs, to support process improvements and technology advancements
• Utilise statistical tools and methodologies to analyse process data, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate solutions
• Lead the successful transfer of manufacturing processes from Engineering to commercial operations, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to regulatory requirements
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and technology partners, to facilitate smooth technology transfer and knowledge exchange
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for operational excellence, cost optimisation, and quality enhancement within manufacturing processes
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry developments, and scientific advancements relevant to bio pharmaceutical manufacturing, and assess their potential applications for process improvement and innovation
• Champion the implementation of new technologies, process analytical tools, and digital solutions to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.

You will bring...

• Tertiary qualification in scientific discipline, such as pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, biotechnology, or related fields
• Knowledge of cGMP regulations, FDA guidelines, and other relevant regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated expertise in process development, process validation, and manufacturing sciences
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Swinburne Online delivers world-class learning though degrees specifically designed for the online student. Each degree is tailored to provide opportunities for students who are often unable to undertake university studies on campus.

At Swinburne Online, the student is at the forefront of everything we do. This role is an opportunity to support and guide our students through their learning journey. Our Online Learning Advisers (OLAs) are the subject matter experts who facilitate the student’s learning, with a focus on helping them achieve their goals.

What you will do

Our OLAs are responsible for the following:

• Providing an exceptional student experience through the delivery of academic content developed by our partner academics and our learning design team 
• Facilitating learning activities that engage and support student learning 
• Undertaking assessment tasks (including moderation, marking, and feedback) as well as processing and submitting results according to set timelines 

Online Learning Advisers are not required to establish curriculum, design learning activities, schedule learning and teaching, set assessments or develop marking schemes.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for candidates who have experience with psychological testing and evaluation. You must be proficient and confident in teaching factor analysis.

• You will hold a postgraduate qualification (Masters or PhD) in Applied Statistics or similar
• You will have a minimum of 3 years industry experience
• You are motivated by student success and passionate about online learning
• You are a passionate and clear communicator 
• You have strong presentation skills and the ability to maintain an engaging and positive online presence 
• You are proactive and organised
• You thrive in a remote working environment
