Manage the customer complaint process from end to end in conjunction with Customer Care.
Coordinate and execute initiatives related to the ethical trading and other related sustainability policies in conjunction with the Strategic Procurement Team.
Manage the internal process of external supplier non-conformance reporting, carrying out data analysis to ensure trends are identified and followed up.
Manage the preparation of reports for Supplier Relationship Management meetings, in conjunction with the FSQA Compliance Coordinator and FSQA Category Technologists.
Manage compliance reporting for the FSQA function, ensuring reports are prepared on time and issues escalated as necessary.
Provide Key Cover and management support to the AD Food Safety & Supplier management in the day to day management of FSQA Upstream Team.

You have…

A food safety and compliance background, with a relevant degree.
5+ years food industry experience which has included the management of direct reports.
Internal and external auditing experience is key for this role, ideally working in a GFSI certificated environment, and a Lead Auditor Certificate is desirable.
A sound understanding of Quality Management Systems, be familiar with GFSI standard requirements and a good knowledge of FSANZ regulation.
A HACCP qualification is desirable.
Excellent planning, prioritisation and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.

​​​​​This role  is a direct report of the GM Prudential, Risk Strategy & Compliance. You will be a thought leader, providing experienced professional design leadership to ensure TAL’s risk management frameworks are aligned to the company’s strategic direction and are compliant with legislation, regulation, current governance, best practice and commercially effective.

You will work closely with the Executive Team, Senior Leaders across all business divisions and staff within the Risk Office to ensure culture, conduct and compliance risks are managed effectively in accordance with relevant legislation, regulations and the Board-approved risk appetite whilst balancing exceptional customer experience and commercial outcomes.

Some key accountabilities for this role include:

• Managing TALs prudential compliance framework including maintaining a productive and effective relationship with APRA; •providing thought leadership, advice and influence in strengthening TALs Governance, Culture, Remuneration and Accountability (GRCA) framework; and
• Developing, maintaining and managing TALs regulatory breach reporting framework.

This role will be required to work with a broad range of stakeholders across the group as well as the Board, Executive Team and Regulators. You will manage a small team of compliance professionals as well as be a key contributor to the Risk Office Leadership Team and the organisation's Senior Leadership Team.

The Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of compliance within epay, ensuring that the company operates within legal and regulatory requirements. They will develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and training programs, as well as conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and address any compliance issues.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure compliance of AFS license requirements

• Assume the role of the designated AML Compliance Officer under the provisions of the epay AML/CTF Program
• Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures
• Monitor and assess compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Provide guidance and support to employees on compliance matters
• Conduct compliance training programs
• Manage compliance audits and reviews
• Investigate and respond to compliance violations or complaints
• Stay updated on changes to laws and regulations

The Compliance Manager will work closely with senior management to ensure that the company is in compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance management
• Experience in ASF license maintenance
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Experience in the financial services industry is preferred
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), are a plus
