As the Senior Manager - Food Safety & Compliance you will report directly to the Associate Director - Food Safety & Supplier Management in the Upstream Supply Chain Operations Team and will manage a small compliance team.
You will…
Manage the full supplier audit programme for HelloFresh AU, inclusive of carrying out audits as required.
Ensure that all audits & supplier visits are closed out on time and in full.
Manage the full VACCP Programme for HelloFresh AU.
Manage, in conjunction with the FSQA Category Manager, food safety complaints including responses and follow up activities, including root cause analysis of recurring issues.
Manage the customer complaint process from end to end in conjunction with Customer Care.
Coordinate and execute initiatives related to the ethical trading and other related sustainability policies in conjunction with the Strategic Procurement Team.
Manage the internal process of external supplier non-conformance reporting, carrying out data analysis to ensure trends are identified and followed up.
Manage the preparation of reports for Supplier Relationship Management meetings, in conjunction with the FSQA Compliance Coordinator and FSQA Category Technologists.
Manage compliance reporting for the FSQA function, ensuring reports are prepared on time and issues escalated as necessary.
Provide Key Cover and management support to the AD Food Safety & Supplier management in the day to day management of FSQA Upstream Team.
You have…
A food safety and compliance background, with a relevant degree.
5+ years food industry experience which has included the management of direct reports.
Internal and external auditing experience is key for this role, ideally working in a GFSI certificated environment, and a Lead Auditor Certificate is desirable.
A sound understanding of Quality Management Systems, be familiar with GFSI standard requirements and a good knowledge of FSANZ regulation.
A HACCP qualification is desirable.
Excellent planning, prioritisation and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
