We are looking for a Senior Manager, Compliance to enable us to comply with all regulatory requirements, industry standards and internal standards. 

This is a highly visible role in the business and will be responsible for the embedment of compliance frameworks, programs, policies and supporting tools. In addition to regulatory adherence, the purpose of the role is to: 

• Develop, maintain and monitor the implementation of Cuscal’s compliance framework to support Cuscal in complying with legal and regulatory requirements (covering but not limited to Privacy, financial crime and AML/CTF, prudential regulations, and industry standards), including:  

• Implement and embed initiatives to ensure sustainable practices. This includes, but not limited to, providing information, training, advice and tools to the first line of defence to assist them to perform compliance management activities  

• Develop and monitor the implementation of and reporting on Cuscal’s frameworks, policies and standards for managing compliance risks, including financial crime, money laundering, terrorism financing, bribery and corruption, fraud and sanctions (Australia and NZ jurisdictions).  

• Support the AML/CTF Officer to discharge responsibilities including completing and submitting reports to AUSTRAC (as required), using information provided by business units.  

• Support the establishment and embedment of a second line assurance and monitoring program.  

• Oversee and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of the Compliance Management across the organisation. 

• Actively participate and provide input to change initiatives and projects as they relate to compliance management, including APRA CPS 230 initiatives  

• Review and make recommendations for the continuous improvement of the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system with a strong focus on data quality accuracy, process improvement and validation.   

• Provide input to the development, maintenance and monitoring of the Complaint Resolution Policy & Procedure.    

About You 
To be successful in this position you will have the following skills and experience: 

• Demonstrated experience in operational risk and compliance roles, in the financial services sector, including the design and implementation of effective risk and compliance management frameworks, and a sound knowledge of APRA prudential standards.    

• Solid understanding of relevant laws and regulations, industry codes, standards, prudential requirements

• Demonstrated experience in building risk and compliance maturity and capability across the first and second lines of defence and experience/exposure to better industry practice   

• Strong inter-personal and communication skills with the ability to build effective workplace relationships.   

• Proficient in executing change management activities

This position is responsible for supporting Quality Assurance for Claims. You will provide claims administrative support services to other parts of the business within specified guidelines and may be directly supervised.

In addition to this the Claims Quality Assurance Officer will provide ongoing file maintenance and administrative support to Quality Assurance Managers, Specialists and Consultants as well as supporting the overall quality assurance process.

In this role you will:

• Provides Claims Quality Assurance administrative support service within specified guidelines and TAL values.
• Responds to QA enquiries where basic analysis and the provision of information is needed in order to resolve the issue, escalating where necessary.
• Records all information accurately on appropriate systems.
• Responsible for spotting opportunities for service and process improvement and feeding suggestions to manager.

We have an ongoing opportunity for a Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and Vulnerability Management (VM) Manager to join our team delivering comprehensive cybersecurity services to support the Australian Defence Forces. 

This role requires an understanding of the needs of the end user, the ability to provide cyber security assurance and advisory services in a secure environment and has scope for you to improve the customer’s operational capabilities. You will head the GRC and VM areas for our customers networks and be responsible for ensuring compliance with the applicable Information Assurance (IA) frameworks, policies, and standards with particular focus on the Information Security manual (ISM) and Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF). You will also be supporting cyber security risk management activities, including the assessment and mitigation of vulnerabilities exploitable by relevant threats. Your responsibilities will include the following: 

• Support the customer in the ongoing governance of the cyber security services across multiple networks. 
• People leadership and management of the GRC and VM teams. 
• Accountability for the GRC and VM functions and delivery of artefacts.  
• Perform and investigate internal and external information security risk and exceptions assessments. Assess incidents, vulnerability management, scans, patching status and secure baselines, reporting on compliance to the customer. 
• Implement risk management framework including the management of the Cyber Security Risk Register, ensuring documented and sustainable compliance that aligns and advances the environments.  
• Evaluates risks to develop and implement security standards, procedures, and controls to manage risks.  
• Quality assure GRC components of artefacts, reports, and other outputs. 
• Review and update policies, standards and processes for accuracy, completeness, and currency. 
• Improve the security positioning through process improvement, policy, automation, and the continuous evolution of capabilities.  
• Conduct day to day reviews of operational security challenges and provide input into change control. 
• Assessment, ongoing reporting and tracking of vulnerabilities to ensure stakeholders understand the associated risks, gaps and remediation activities required. This is to be completed in collaboration with Industry partners. 
• Management of ongoing accreditation for the networks including routine document reviews, development and/or review of supporting artefacts such as SRMP, SSP, SSP-A, SOPS, etc.
