The Bar Manager at Mondrian Gold Coast is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar operation for a specific venue (Haven, LiTO or Haven Pool Club), ensuring the delivery of exceptional service standards, and creating an extraordinary guest experience.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to maintaining the luxury and sophistication that Mondrian is renowned for. 

The main duties of this role include:

Strategic Planning and Development

Operational Management: 

• Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of Bars, ensuring all logistics are handled smoothly. 
• Coordinate with internal departments such as catering and audiovisual to ensure seamless service delivery. 
• Recruit, train, lead and support the Bars Team Members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

The Venue Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Venue operations within the hotel, including team management, guest service, financial performance, and adherence to health and safety standards. • In-depth knowledge of the Australian FMCG market and current trends with an emphasis on convenience retailing 
• Proficiency in using Microsoft suite of applications 
• Demonstrates soft skills such as open-mindedness, analytical thinking, professionalism, and a strong drive for sales.
