The VCA team within Australia provides a comprehensive range of consulting services and solutions to our clients in Australia and New Zealand, that address unique challenges in areas such as strategic growth, profitability, risk management and digital strategy.
Typical projects may include:
- How does a financial institution increase market share in consumer credit cards?
- How should a credit card issuer use emerging technology to acquire the best customers?
- How does a financial institution grow their credit card portfolio while mitigating credit risk?
- How does a financial institution optimise their product offering?
About the role:
As a Consulting Strategic Designer you'll use human centered design principles to create new, innovative engagement experiences across Australia, New Zealand, and South Pacific. Our
Reporting to the Director, Digital Practice Lead in Melbourne, you will plan, shape, drive, and collaborate with different client and internal stakeholder groups to co-create and progress our engagements across our clients. You'll personally be responsible for bringing the practical application of design to the overall engagement process and leveraging human-centred design skills.
You'll be involved in the early stages of research, ideation, storytelling, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams through the iteration and implementation process.
We value experience in, and passion for UX design, plus a proven track record of delivering high quality assets at pace with high impact. This role would ideally suit someone who is comfortable not only conducting and synthesizing research into insights and facilitating design thinking practices but also someone who has a desire to roll up their sleeves and produce design artifacts in a fast-paced environment.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two to three days a week, Tuesdays to Thursday with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
