Your new role
On a daily basis, the administrative officer will demonstrate compassion, empathy, and care. Your responsibilities will include welcoming visitors and providing outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients. Your tasks will encompass, but are not limited to:
Engaging and communicating with individuals via both phone and email
Aiding in the organisation of training requests, meetings, workshops, and catering arrangements, as needed.
Managing confidential files, including the upkeep of Document Management Systems and registers.
Entering data, generating reports, and maintaining the database
Compiling information such as agendas, recording minutes, and organising rooms and equipment for meetings
Participating in community networking events to represent the organisation
Performing any other duties as reasonably instructed
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position, you will have a passion and interest in community care, backed by a solid administrative background, and exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Your capacity to function effectively as part of a team, as well as your ability to work independently using a high degree of initiative and self-motivation, will be crucial.
An acute eye for detail and the ability to establish rapport and empathy with key stakeholders and participants
Proficient computer skills
The ability to adapt to change and perform well under pressure
A positive and amiable personality, who is open-minded, flexible, and eager to contribute to an innovative and supportive team that collaborates effectively
