Procore’s Industry Insights Team is looking for a Director, Industry Transformation APAC to expand our global presence, thought leadership and strategy. This role will be responsible for driving business growth within the APAC region. They will work with some of our most global and strategic accounts as they navigate the ever changing construction challenges through digital transformation.

As a Director Industry Transformation, you will develop multi-threaded regional thought leadership campaigns in partnership with global industry strategy, strategic account marketing and sales.

This role requires deep and extensive industry knowledge gained from a significant amount of experience working in all aspects of construction as well as experience with current and developing  technologies and processes. This role will work closely with Procore’s Revenue Team to achieve revenue and backlog targets, and shape regional GTM processes. This is a strategic role as Procore continues to grow into larger global accounts and geographies. 

This is a Sydney based role and will be reporting into the VP Industry Insights.   

What you’ll do:

• Work across product, corporate strategy, sales and marketing to help develop unique insights into the issues that are top of mind for customers and prospects both in APAC and Globally
• Expand Procore’s brand awareness at the executive level in the APAC region
• Share this expertise internally by participating in strategic projects as well as building industry insights for our teams
• Develop and maintain a network of contacts to attract new clients, research new market opportunities and identify growth projects
• Leverage partners, events and our existing network to establish Procore as a Thought Leader and to build a network of new customer contacts to engage
• Partner with industry associations to moderate roundtables, host panel discussions, and develop thought leadership content around top of funnel industry challenges
• Develop strategy with APAC Account Teams to drive customer engagement and references
• Build bench of industry leaders willing to do co-marketing with Procore 
• On site customer or prospect visits and executive briefings with customers 

What we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline of Engineering (i.e. Electrical, Mechanical), Construction/Building Sciences, or relevant equivalent experience
• 15+ years experience in senior/executive management in the Construction Industry 
• Deep understanding of the full lifecycle of the construction lifecycle from many different perspectives.
• Excellence in communication skills both written and oral especially 
• Name recognition in the industry preferable but not a requirement
• Comfortable in public speaking engagements

The Editorial Director for AFR Ventures is responsible for driving the strategic and editorial success of key Financial Review projects, including its influential AFR Lists and Summits across key industries. AFR Ventures also oversees the paper’s Special Reports, Thought Leadership and a broad range of special events. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Ventures and work closely with the Commercial Director to develop and deliver high-quality content for new and existing partners. 

Responsibilities:

• Identify, develop, and optimise new and existing event opportunities, ensuring timely, high-standard delivery of themes, agendas, and speakers.
• Collaborate with Sales to conceptualise and present Special Report opportunities; oversee the Special Reports Editor to ensure high-quality, timely content.
• Manage Program Managers to ensure successful delivery of AFR Lists, covering operations, marketing, methodology, and customer service.
• Grow and execute Thought Leadership initiatives, developing a suite of products like Insights Reports, Roundtables, and whitepapers.
• Explore and propose new products such as polling and market research, crafting campaign proposals and pricing.

THE PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Working with multiple stakeholders within agencies and market to ensure successful campaign delivery and client outcomes in APEX self-serve and monitored IO digital campaigns.

As a valued member of the team, the digital performance manager will work with the programmatic director and account managers to deliver and plan effective biddable campaigns.

KEY OUTPUTS

SELF SERVICE

• Deliver RTB buying strategies, optimization and strong reporting insights across APEX trading clients
• Generate finest outcomes for our clients bringing best practice and new innovative ideas to get to the goal
• Identify and effectively communicate the APEX trading desk proposition, tech, process and partnerships as they relay to the grown of current clients

MANAGED SERVICE

• Ensure briefs are clear and details from agency partners and effectively brief appropriate partners
• Own the digital media strategic and tactical recommendation outputs
• Generate the finest outcomes for clients delivering on APEX KPIs and business goals for the group 

CLIENT SERVICING/ MEDIA PARTNERSHIPS 

• Build relationships with key agency teams, you need to be a trusted partner
• Work with agencies to help provide brief acknowledgements for their clients assisting through the planning and buying process
• Build new media proposals, effectively communicating media strategies and rationale
• Assess the digital media landscape, building strong relationships with programmatic partners and tech to effectively communicate this to stakeholders

COMMERCIAL/ FINANCE

• Deliver on APEX targets via products and solutions to clients
• Assist GDD/PD with monthly reconciliations and owning the finance process as well as campaign forecasts in salesforce
• Ensure agencies remain compliance with paperwork and loading

OPERATIONAL

• For self-serve – ensure tight streamlined process is implemented for programmatic excellence including recommendations, monitoring and optimization
• For managed – follow streamlined process for briefing/proposals/ invoicing & billing

IDEAL EXPERIENCE

• Min 3 years' experience in programmatic media trading
• Preferred client facing experience
• Strong knowledge and working knowledge of Australian media and programmatic landscape
• Experience across DSPs: DV360, TTD, Yahoo
• Preferred experience in DOOH and Audio programmatic media buying
