About your new job 

In your new position, you will be entrusted with overseeing and managing our organisation's risk landscape, with a strong emphasis on the implementation and enhancement of our risk management framework. You are key in refining, further developing, and executing the overall Risk Management Strategic plan for the next 3 – 5 years.  

Further key responsibilities include: 

• Implement and enhance the risk management framework, including the ongoing integration of our enterprise risk management system.  
• Foster a proactive risk culture across the Warakirri Group, offering advice and support to each business as needed.  
• Support risk owners and the 1st line of defence in conducting regular reviews, ensuring the effectiveness and documentation of risk profiles and internal controls.  
• Develop, execute, and document a controls assessment and testing framework, recommending enhancements across the organisation.  
• Establish and maintain key risk indicators, reporting on them regularly, and defining remedial actions in collaboration with the business.  
• Prepare detailed risk analysis reports for each business, and manage the quarterly review and reporting on risk trends and treatment progress to the Executive Leadership Team and risk committee.  
• Strengthen the internal risk control environment by assisting businesses in continuously improving controls and processes, including root cause analysis of issues and incidents.  
• Manage annual Business Impact Assessments, defining critical business processes and key controls to ensure operational resilience with appropriate contingencies in place. 

Location:

• Initially, a store close to you (Benalla, Wangaratta, Shepparton or Mooroopna), until Yarrawonga Store is completed (Opening approximately December 2024, actual date TBC)

About the Opportunity.

As the Field Operations Manager your role is pivotal in executing and improving field marketing, merchandising and POG initiatives at State Level. Therefore, your role will be responsible for ensuring the Victorian team have the resources, skills and support to successfully execute and deliver on all strategies.

We are ideally looking for a purpose-driven leader that can connect with their team on a personal level in order to drive the team towards achieving shared goals.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Take responsibility for the overall performance and executional standards of the State team
• Ensure effective and efficient planning of work allocation, capacity management and developing coverage plans in order to meet KPIs
• Manage project timelines and budgets
• Lead the team to be insightful and improvement focused
• Manage staff including onboarding, coaching, supervision, feedback and underperformance
• Effectively utilise information and technology tools to identify program & retailer execution opportunities



About You:

• Previous experience in a similar role or people/team management background in either Retail or Field Marketing preferred
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly with Excel
• Tech savvy and comfortable working across multiple systems, platforms & with data
• Strong time and priority management skills to juggle multiple priorities
• Solution focused with a positive attitude
• Confidence to manage a team remotely who work across all of VIC
• A car and valid drivers licence
